(00:00) maybe a little bit better than what I'm doing I'm always open to learning and it's just to really broaden people's Horizons for the types of methods that you can do and we typically tend to talk about a lot of different little like hidden gems Little Golden nuggets while we do these sessions uh these these are things that I don't really ever think of to just put together and tell people they just kind of come out as we're kind of working through the process because sometimes there things that are just second nature
(00:30) it just happen as we go um but I do want to spend some time today sourcing OA specifically inside of the server just to kind of show you of what kind of potential you have to Source Products directly inside of the server and so that will be including looking at things like our retailer emails uh the Amazon lead specifically uh some of the deals channels Etc and we will also be doing a lot of rabbit hole sourcing day and for those that are not aware what that is that's just basically finding say a certain brand that looks
(01:06) like it's viable on Amazon or even like a certain sale or a certain storefront and then going down that rabbit hole and doing some additional sourcing uh going down those rabbit holes uh I will also most likely show some people some methods on how we can utilize our retailer database to do some reverse sourcing that way uh and then then as we're doing this as well uh we might steer off and do some additional things here and there like I said I don't really have a set schedule or a set agenda but we will also most likely
(01:39) mix in some crossb sourcing as well so whether that's us to ca or CA to us just to kind of opens up people's eyes on how the process works and to show you what kind of viability you can find doing that type of sourcing and to really demystify it and show you that it's not as scary as what it is as as what it seems for those that do not currently do any type of crossb sourcing so yeah um let me get started here and for any questions that we have if anybody has any questions I would just like you to type it in the voice
(02:15) chat chat uh the voice chat chat channel that we have and then I'll address them uh as as we go as I can uh I'm just going to ensure that we start the event here one second [Music] oh my stuff just got a little bit messed up when I switched sessions here so it's give me a second I have to reshare my screen uh but yeah so and if if there's also anything that anybody else would like to specifically cover any type of O sourcing you you can certainly feel free to try them in and if we have time we will certainly cover
(03:03) it uh you can see I have a couple tabs open up here uh for some things that we will potentially cover I even have a TA tab here open uh to potentially look through their quick search functionality because I don't believe it's something that we've ever really discussed in depth on how to use ta's Quick Search and it is something that although as much as I hate ta nowadays it can still be somewhat viable so I still think it's important to discuss uh but yeah to get started I just wanted to just kind of show kind of
(03:35) a a regular process of what it look like to Source Amazon specific products inside of the Arcane server so the first thing that I would mention is don't have any blindfolds on whenever you're looking through the server or whenever you're seeing pings for Stuff uh because a lot of stuff that we have in here although we do regularly vet it for like eBay and if it also looks good on Amazon we will typically ping Amazon Etc uh there will certainly be things that we miss or say some some of the members if they're providing
(04:06) deals or flips they may they may not specifically vet it for Amazon as well so always just kind of be curious do you want to manage your mic or thank you um so yeah just always be curious when you see things always be willing to just kind of explore some items when they do pop up and the more in my experience the the more you're curious the more you explore things the more you dig into stuff the more you're going to learn overall and the more you're going to kind of build up that muscle memory on If an item is
(04:41) worth exploring uh on places like Amazon so like when I'm looking through stuff and like I see like Drew here earlier today posted this stuff um some discounts this was yesterday from Home Depot some discounted pack out uh tool organizers from Milwaukee and some additional things this was certainly be something that I would say would probably be worth taking a peek on Amazon to see if it's worth it uh these guys have quite a bit of additional Logistics built in with them so I'm not going to touch base on these guys today
(05:10) with Amazon but this would be something that I would think would be worth taking a peek at uh for like regular random free stuff that's typically not viable but even stuff like this like this is something that was spotted in uh on clearance at Costco for $ 34.97 so a lot of Costco clearance items typically do quite well on Amazon both in Canada and the US so that certainly be something that I would recommend that you take a peek and you see if that has some viability and if you do this and you're not you don't have those blind those
(05:46) blinders on when you're in the server quite often you will find a lot of stuff if Amazon's not specifically tagged that a lot of other people are not paying attention to because a lot of people as much as we don't like to call ourselves lazy a lot a lot of people tend to be pretty lazy and they just find like the lowest hanging fruit and if it's not done for them they're not really going to look at it so if you take that a little bit additional time quite often you'll find some stuff that a lot of other people do not okay so yeah we can
(06:14) realistically utilize almost any channel that we have in here like under the important Channel especially under the Amazon category definitely to find potential Amazon products uh one place that I believe is probably Rel L underutilized that me and my team use on a regular basis are the retailer deal emails and if you don't already and you Source on a regular basis I would highly encourage that you get in the habit of checking these guys about once per day at least uh because this is typically where most my team
(06:49) starts off their day sourcing because right when they start working they can sit down they can uh really easily scroll through to see what kind of retailers kind of have what on sale and then start determining on where they should start looking at for sourcing that day so a lot of the stuff that comes through here just like with anything else is going to be complete trash complete garbage not even worth looking at but when we're scrolling through here we're going to see things like uh let's see here what do we see so
(07:17) we see buy one get one free hand soaps at Bath and Body Works so this might be something that we want to explore so we'll take a look at this guy I'll post guy up for later uh Victoria Secret has a flash sale so Victoria Secret is in here because we have actually sourced viable OA products from them before so they're not in here for just any reason they're in here because we've actually sourced product from them previously so it might be worth taking a look at Victoria Secret uh and then when we go through I'm just kind of skimming through just
(07:49) to see what kind of sales we see if we're just seeing like kind of like introducing new items stuff like that I'm typically not interested I just want to see if a retailer that I'm familiar with has a a good sale happening uh Misha that might be viable for some hydration products uh but let's just keep on peeking through and for everybody else that's coming in here uh we're just kind of doing a casual OA session I'm just going to be sourcing multiple different methods explaining my process as I do it um very casual it's going to be very
(08:24) much going on different tangents and if you have any questions while we're doing this please drop them in the chat and then I will get to them uh as soon as I can and if you want any clarification on anything Etc so let's see we found a couple so far there might be some potential there for some CPAP products if you've sourced CPAP products before let's see what kind of deal Victoria Secret has so I just want to see what kind of sale they have going on so it's bras panties so we're probably not going to be selling a lot
(08:54) of clothing but we're probably going to have some viability in their beauty products so we see that it looks like a good chunk of their products are probably on sale it might be everything cool so then we have established that Victoria Secret has a decent sale happening so let's start doing some sourcing so what I'm going to do is I'm just going to come on to Amazon I'm going to type in Victoria Secret an extension that uh everybody should have if they don't already is either DS Amazon quick view extended which is a paid extension for Canada or
(09:37) there was one that was released recently by seller amp that is free that I posted in the Amazon chat it's called I have to reference back to it it's called seller amp something but it basically does the same thing and it's completely free they just released it but you should have one of those installed and basically what it does it it just gives you more information when you search a product manually uh telling you what the sales rank is if Amazon's on the listing Etc this is very helpful when you do this type of sourcing and from here I'm just
(10:06) going to look at the products I'm probably going to hover over them to see if the keeper graph looks like it's solid and if it looks interesting to me I'm going to open it up and then we're going to do a little bit more research that might be Hazmat these are fragrance Miss so those guys might be Hazmat we'll probably proceed like they are but we'll see if we can find some other viability for these other guys here so this is their amber romance lotion so let's just see if we find their lotions here that look familiar I think they
(10:48) have they might have multiple variations on one product here which they do and we were looking at Amber romance so Amber Romance so that's 16004 looks like the discounts already factored in I believe so so this guy wouldn't be viable for us today that's okay we know that for these lotions we're looking at a buy cost of about 12 bucks so we want to be looking at a selling price of probably like closer to like $28 or so so this guy probably will also not be viable our Max cost is $13 so I'm just making some assumptions as we go
(11:31) uh this guy may or may not be Hazmat let's Source it like it's not Hazmat so this is fine bombshell fragrance and when you're sourcing this kind of stuff uh you will always find kind of your own individual workflow on what works the best for you I operate with multiple different monitors so if we were not recording I would have Victoria Secret on one monitor Amazon on this Monitor and then I'd be able to easily look back and forth and probably do some searches stuff like that uh but when we're using one it's a little bit
(12:04) more limited so let's see if we can just search for bombshell here so that looks different it's not a perfume it's a fragrance Mist that's a fragrance lotion let's look up this guy thank you for sharing that in the chat there uh he fine flip shared both the seller amp and the DS Amazon quick view so it looks like we found this guy for two for 4374 so I know it's 4374 divided 2 so I know my buy cost is 2115 and so this guy may actually have some viability it looks like we're probably going to expect to S sell it
(13:05) for about 60 bucks doesn't look like it sells crazy uh this obviously may be a Hazmat item we're not logged in right now to check uh so You' obviously want to double check that and ensure that you can sell Hazmat before you do but that is a potentially good item right there so I'm just going to put this in the chat just so we can keep reference for the different products that we find and let's continue on to the next one and like I said of course if anybody has any questions as we go certainly feel free to leave them in the chat
(13:38) here so this is another fragrance Mist uh this may be a different price so this is coconut passion see if we can find this guy so this guy is 16004 looks like the same size so this guy may be viable as well uh but with this one because we see no FBA sellers it's a high likelihood that this guy is going to be a Hazmat unit so I'm just going to probably assume that it is but if you can uh factor that in with fbm shipping it might be okay for you it's typically sells for a lot less so it's not that profitable so that guy's
(14:21) probably a dud there so let's skip on these fragrances let's find this guy so this guy was selling for about 28 what was our buy cost again on these lotions here 16004 so we already have a a price in here so obviously one of my team members previously found this so this guy isn't super profitable so this wouldn't be one that I'd be interested in unless we can find another discount from Victoria Secret which it is possible that we may because it is a retailer direct uh but from what I recall I haven't I don't recall finding any major discounts or
(14:58) coupon from Victoria Secret uh this guy so this is 2845 we know our buy cost is going to be 14604 so that guy is not going to be viable for us so we'll continue on to the next one I think we spent enough time with Victoria Secret but obviously there's some potential here especially if you are able to sell Hazmat units but we'll continue on to something else here and so with these ones we seen that uh their holiday traditions are buy 1 get one free I think they had some yeah it looks like most of their products are
(15:46) buy 1 get one free so it's a 25% discount right now and we can probably find some viability looking for Bath and Body Works products as well so let's take a look Bath and Body Works and then from here I just like again I like to kind of really pull up everything that kind of pops up first just to see uh do some manual research of everything that pops up and then I'll do some additional sourcing from there but basically everything that looks viable I'm going to pull it up and take a peek at it and when I'm looking at these guys I
(16:30) just wanted to look like that it does actually sell a decent amount I want to see that the price that we see right now is not overinflated uh this guy typically sells for about 19 bucks and so our Max cost would be 763 so let's just take a look quickly to see what uh our buy cost would be on this one so this is champagne toast so this is Shea cream that's a body wash that's a body cream that might be it there that might be it there but these guys I think have too high of a buy cost
(17:33) anyway yeah so we'd be looking for a buy cost of 763 these guys would not be close to that so I'm not going to waste my time looking at those guys uh this one may have some potential here but again this one has kind of inflated selling price right now normally sells for quite a bit less so unless we can Source it for under seven bucks which it looks like right now that we can't so right now with that guy I'm going to pass on that one uh this guy looks okay this one sells a decent amount of units and so this one
(18:05) is mahogany Teakwood 3-wick candle let's take a look at this guy this one's 2750 we don't currently have any sales on this guy uh however because we know um and we can look at prior sales in the server as well if you just search for Bath & Body Works in this channel you're going to find a lot of like 50% off sales and sometimes even less so it's a high likelihood that will probably be able to Source this eventually for less than $14 obviously like my team probably has at some point and if we are able to Source
(18:44) it for that price this guy might actually become a a pretty viable product for us because this one sells 300 plus units per month so even at a lower buy cost it may be viable if you can sweat the bubble wrap that this will probably take CU it's probably going be glass I'm just double checking some of the chats here cool and because we found this like this is something that because we know in the future that this may be viable for us it's not viable right now we can look at this one of two different ways if it is a product that we can source
(19:27) for a certain price but say on average on average Amazon it normally makes sense but right now it doesn't make sense like right now the price is just decreased below that threshold but on average it seems like it will probably come back up to our threshold what we can do is we can then track this product on keepa and we can set a threshold to get notified of when it hits a certain price so when it hits that price that makes sense for us we can uh say like say it makes sense for us let say $31 so I want it to to be notified when it hit
(19:59) $31 or more then I can then set this as a Tracker and then keep will notify me via email and Via their app when this hits my desired price if it is an okay price but the retailer just right now doesn't have a good price then what we can do is we can then set ourselves a user keyword for our retailer deal emails channel here to get notified whenever Bath and Body Works does another sale and then we can put this off in like say our products to watch list uh make a little note of it that it'll make sense when we can
(20:36) purchase it for $14 or less and then we can come and revisit that when that happens so what we could do is we can look to see how Bath & Body Works looks in here where was bath and body so we see see Bath and Body Works so I'm just going to look at this bath and body so it'll it'll always come and it'll always say Bath and Body Works Canada so what I'll do is I'll just set myself a user keyword in the bot commands for Bath & Body in retailer deal emails and then whenever Bath and Body puts on their next sale it'll ping me
(21:25) and send me a DM indicating that they have that sale happening uh blue shift asks are those 300 plus sales all in the Canadian market so yes whenever we see this stat here this is actual data that's from Amazon um this is some of the best data that we can get this is something that is still kind of new it's only been around for I think coming up on a year now um but Amazon does actually give us this data on units that sell 50 plus units per month it doesn't happen on every single product but most of them if it sells 50 or more
(22:02) it'll have 50 plus 100 plus 200 plus Etc and it's for this specific variation so if we have multiple variants which this listing does this will be accurate for this variant however you need to keep in mind that we kind of want to still look at the big picture for the listing because just because it sold 300 like in the last month Say by chance like this is an example that it probably always sells between 100 to 300 per month but let's just say by chance it was an it was an item that normally sells for like say
(22:38) $15 and it said that it sold 300 plus units per month and then in the last say 15 days that price has increased to say $30 because the person that normally sells it for 15 uh sold out well we're still going to see that lingering stat for that 30-day period even if uh at that $30 price point it's not selling at all right because it's still sold 300 in the last 30 days right so we just kind of have to step back and look at the big picture of the listing to ensure that we're analyzing the data properly but tldr yes that is
(23:13) specifically for Canada so yeah this is potentially a viable product if we can Source it for under $14 which if we look at prior history we know that uh Bath and Body Works regularly puts on their stuff for half price so all we have to do is set that keyword in that channel and then next time Bath and Body Works post on a sale we will get dm'd about that sale then we can cross reference our products to watch list all the products that we loaded in there and then we can very easily pull pull those guys out and
(23:42) start buying those products accordingly and then Bel eat says could you show us a little bit of how you Source Products for Canada to Amazon us flips yes 100% uh I mentioned at the top of the session that this is going to be like a very casual session and we're probably going to go down a lot of different tangents we're going to be doing crossb sourcing for sure from Canada to us maybe US to Canada and we're kind of be going all over place and throwing in all different kinds of methods in between um I find when I
(24:12) Source if I'm like very into it I'm like very I guess you would call add with sourcing I go down mass of different rabbit holes and I'll start with like say sourcing Bath and Body Works all of a sudden I'm storefront stocking this store all of a sudden I'm looking at a deal over here so like I don't Focus on just like one little thing and if you fine-tune your skills where you can transition to different kinds of methods uh without having issues with it I would encourage you to do the same because you're G to find a lot of good
(24:42) stuff going on those rabbit holes X says sounds like you're six hours a day nothing wrong with that um obviously like if the time's going by quickly that means that you are engaged and you're enjoying what you're doing um and as long as you're producing results then obviously that that's obviously not a bad thing as well cool so we have this guy that that has a potential uh but I also want to look at because we see that there's a two pack as well so I want to see if this guy is going to be viable for a two pack either right now or when it's on
(25:13) sale so I'm going to open up the two pack I always refresh my window um I know it refreshes by itself but sometimes I just I do it out of habit because sometimes it doesn't so we can see with this variation we don't see that sold listing up here or that sold amount up here so we know again that the sold is for the onep pack variant so this one I want to try to prove sales another way so I don't see any indication here uh I'm not going to trust the keep a graph because it's a variation listing I'm going to see if I
(25:45) can gauge sales based on any seller stock count so I'm going to look through the offers Prime include historical offers tab so looks like with this one the two pack probably also does sell as well these guys they don't look that might be a us seller we'll take a quick look at that guy right away um Premier shipping fast I just want to take a look at that guy because he has so many units in stock Premier shipping fast is US seller so I'm not going to factor in his units to my calculations but yeah it looks like it would probably reasonably sell
(26:20) probably 10 to 15 units per month so this may also be a product that if we can Source it for you know sub4 bucks per unit it might be viable for us it's not going to be a super great mover but if we're buying the one packs at the same time we can probably move five to eight of these ourselves per month as well there does look like there are quite a few FBA sellers on this listing but one of them is the same guy three are the same guy so uh all three that are buy box eligible are all the same person in theory what Amazon made a
(26:54) change a couple years ago uh by default Amazon should allocate the same buy box percentage to this person even though that they they have three listings before they would have toen over 75% if you came in as an additional seller but in theory um they should only get uh one share of the buy box even though that they have three separate listings Amazon did make a change for that a couple years ago whether or not it works that well is another question uh he find flips it he asks is that still allowed having multiple msqs
(27:27) on a listing technically not um usually what will happen though in cases like this is if Amazon does catch you they will typically just merge all three your listings together um but I believe they made the change to stop the buy box manipulation a couple years ago for that reason I want to recall again that happened probably like two maybe three years ago um but yeah and if you ever have multiple M skes I want to recall um it happened a long long time ago but we used to do this a lot uh because that's just how our inventory management worked
(28:05) when that change happened when we looked at some stats on our listing it looked like they were all combined if we had like two or three different SKS if you do it a lot of guess you could get a ding on your account Health most likely I've never seen it happen and this is something I used to do a lot not to say it can't happen obviously but it is definitely against Amazon's terms so yeah this would be another guy that we might want to add on our product to watch list and then just wait for when we get pinged or dm'd next time
(28:30) Bathroom Body Works runs a sale um if we do want to double check to see if this is also viable in the US uh I would highly recommend that you have a Chrome extension like this guy up here uh I want to say that this guy is called a flipper on the Chrome extension store it's a free tool either lets you flip the current page to the opposite Marketplace or open up a new tab to the opposite Marketplace just with one click so you can very easily switch back and forth between marketplaces instead of manually changing the
(29:02) URL uh alternatively you can look at the international prices uh comparison on keepa you can click compare International Amazon prices and then when you click on this you can click always show and then it'll always show you at the bottom of the keepo graph what the other marketplaces are how much of the buy box is in the other marketplaces I think we might need to do this and do that we might need to refresh keepa but then down here it should then show us what the uh ongoing buy box price is in the opposite Marketplace it's not the
(29:44) most efficient way to Source but you can realistically see how much in USD I believe that shows in USD price I don't believe it's converted we have to double check but then we can just kind of take a look and see and then G whether or not it's worth uh looking over on the other Marketplace so no I think it might be adjusted for Canadian just double check here so yeah it's adjusted for Canadian so this would be Canadian dollars then Bel eats pasted a flip thank you very much um but yeah there's no fancy sauce if like when you're doing souring when
(30:25) you're just doing regular sourcing not focusing on crossboard crossb sourcing you you obviously if you do do crossb selling as well it makes sense for you to supplement that sourcing when you're already looking at those products you might as well already vet them because we're already here we might as well double check them to see if they're also viable in the US um there's no secret sauce to do that uh you just have to just consistently flip back and forth and check when we're doing focused CA to us or US to ca it's a little bit
(30:55) different let's see what else we can find here so we have some cherry blossom soap so this one sells 100 plus per month and it looks like it probably switches between 50 to 100 so probably like on average sells like between like 60 to 80 units per month uh if spikes every now and again so this guy may be viable if we can Source them for under six bucks a piece so we're going to look for Japanese cherry blossom and we want to find their foaming soap it may look slightly different that happens very often that's body wash body
(31:42) cream uh gel cleansing hand soap is this the gel cleansing hand soap gel foaming or that's just Foaming Hand Soap it may be different here we'll take a look body wash body wash let's see if we can just switch soap Melanie says foam is sold out okay fair enough um but yeah if we were able to a if we were able to find the foam variant and we're able to find it for 395 this looks like it could be a viable product because this would be 395 time 2 obviously these are a mismatch but this could be viable today so if you want to watch for
(32:29) restocks for that guy uh we do not currently support restocks for Bath and Body Works however obviously you can always always check it yourself for restocks and we also have in our gitbook a web monitor Chrome extension where you can run a a monitor directly on your browser so you can basically just install this Chrome extension you can monitor any section of any page so like if it shows that like right now it's out of stock you can uh monitor this or monitor from when the price changes and then it'll check it directly
(33:04) in your browser and then notify you when that section of the website changes this one is not super viable if you want to monitor a ton of different products because it uses your own resources so you want to just use it sparingly but for stuff like this it would be perfect so if we could find the the foaming soap I don't know even know if it'll show it to us but if we could find the page for the foaming soap and we could set that then we could set up one of those restocks for that guy I'm not sure that we can though but this would be something that
(33:42) we should certainly add in like a product to watch sheet because this guy is probably pretty viable we do have a good handful of sellers that are buy box competitive on here however if we're able to get a portion of 100 plus units per month we may be able to scoop up some sales some profit from that I've also found some leads from the frequently bought together section doesn't always hit uh have worked here and there also from the manufacturer section from directly related products 100% and that's another good point so
(34:13) when you look at frequently bought together uh especially if it shows you other products from other brands that we may not be specifically sourcing right now that can be super viable and products related to this item as well so always like we kind of said at the top of the session always be willing to be curious and explore when you're sourcing because you never know what you might find okay so this guy is a a massive bundle so it says six Wallflower it looks like it's listed within to uh not 100% certain if this guy's Hazmat it
(34:49) could be because they are sense but we need to check that obviously sells 50 plus per month uh it looks like it sells consistently 50 plus per month so let's just see what our buy cost would be on this guy so we're looking for wallflower bulb and it just says assorted six so it looks like we can probably grab any six is it called something else so let's just look for wallflower wall flower I think those might be the same guy they those guys look similar H does it say what size these guys are those are 2.4 Ms it looks
(35:49) like are those the same 24 Ms oh yeah those would be the same cool so we got five for 29 bucks and so we have six here so we can go 5 / 29 equals time 6 oops uh 29 divided by five rather $29 yeah and then times six that makes sense so that's what our buy cost is so right now this guy doesn't make sense but obviously this is 100% an OA product we know that because people are not going to be buying Bath and Body Works wholesale so there it's probably pretty obvious that these guys probably go on a better sale every so often so this would be
(36:34) another one that we may want to watch you know just add it to your product to watch list this guy and then just watch for when these guys go cheaper on a cheaper price uh X says the manufacturer section is helpful when you find a product you aren't gated on to find other products assuming you're new and gated on everything 100% so yeah we can just kind of use just logistical thinking logical reasoning and we just know that this is not going to be a wholesale product it is possible that some people may get these like liquidation
(37:08) Closeouts but this is like your quintessential OA product so at some point it's very likely that some of these sellers have probably sourced this product at a better price it had previously sold for a little bit more but it hasn't been substantially more so we can probably get it at a better price that makes makes more sense we just need to watch for that sale to come back so this would be another product that we should put on our watch list and we're kind of building that lead pipeline as we go uh this guy let's see if champagne
(37:43) toast is currently on sale because this guy looks like it sells a bunch of units as well three wick so this guy 2750 so not on sale right now but we know from looking at it before it is possible it'll go on sale for half price if not a little bit less so right now it doesn't make sense even at like half price but if it goes on sale for less than half price or if you're okay with taking lower margins then it'd be something that we should watch out for and it looks like so none of their candles are currently on sale but we can
(38:25) see a lot of their candles obviously sell a pretty decent volume and we're probably going to see it looks like they sell a relatively good volume year round there's probably going to be some holiday exclusive scents that sell even better right now like pumpkin spice and stuff like that and like certain Christmas uh ones but we can probably find a good amount of products just from looking through Bath and Body Work soaps and candles just from what we've seen so far because it looks like there is quite a few more listings as well for all
(38:54) different kinds of stuff so yeah he finds flip says that's usually on sale for 13.95 sometimes Google has the old price true um I personally like looking at actual like solid data so like I'll look in here and we're starting to get a good history for retailer emails it's not as long as it should be yet but I'm going to look in retailer deal emails I'm going to look for Bath and& Body Works Canada and I'm going to see every single time that they've had a sale and I can kind of gauge on when their next sale is going to happen as
(39:29) well by looking at this too so they've gave us emails yesterday uh they had some stuff on for 3.95 yesterday so they probably had some uh hand soap on for 395 yesterday we were probably catching the tail end of that because some stuff is sold out and then we can see if we see any details for like candles and stuff and we might even be able to find um better details in here see single Wick candle 95 and then we can look at this and like if we see like a consistent pattern where it's like oh every three weeks they put three wi candles on sale then
(40:08) we know that we can set our calendar start looking out for them in about two weeks time uh B eat says would you consider a listing that makes $2 profit per unit if it sells really well 200 plus per month or more personally yes I do all the time uh but it matters to to me on how much of a painting the ass is going to get uh what kind of prep it involves and if we see a relatively stable selling price so like if it's a if it's a product that's super unstable and like say I'm expected to profit $2 right now but on average I'm
(40:47) going to be losing money I probably will not consider those if it's something that is not super super profitable and requires say multiple Bubble Bags bubble bags cost money like a a standard siiz bubble bag is going to cost like 253 cents um Bubble Wrap is going to be a little bit less but we factor in additional labor cost for that um but if it's a bubble bag 30 cents then we're probably going to have to use two of the economy Bubble Bags if this is glass so that it doesn't break and meets Amazon standards so I'd kind of want to factor
(41:19) that in right I do have some prep costs factored in in the back end on seller amp but it's not uh factored in two separate bubble bags so like in this case my net net cost after everything's said and done is probably going to be closer at about 250 so like that's pretty that's pretty okay I don't mind that at all especially if I can buy this for 13.
(41:43) 95 I would then want to look to see just how stable The Price is Right so if I see that it normally sells at 2744 I probably wouldn't consider that guy but this one is pretty stable around that 30 $31 mark it almost always comes back to that price we do see some dips here and there uh it was less stable back here but this was outside of Q4 so we didn't see the Q4 Peak fulfillment fee that we see right now but over the last three months it has been almost completely flat so with this guy I would certainly take a lower profit margin because that's relatively stable um
(42:22) assuming that I could profit you know 50 plus bucks per month on this guy because that's my minimum standard I got one of those at the moment bought 200 units buy cost is 950 per unit so depending on the listing you may or may not want to go that deep that quickly it depends on how many it looks like actually sell it depends how much Capital you have available right if you have a ton of capital available and it sells like say we have two other sellers on the listing and your number three and it sells 600 plus units per
(42:54) month yeah maybe we want to buy 200 units if you're limited on capital or if it only sells 200 units per month and you're going to be sell number two three four that might be too much stock right you might be carry you might be holding on to that stock for a little bit too long because like especially like with lower profit units you in my opinion you typically want less exposure to them because you have less room for people to be dicks on the listing and kill the price so you probably want a even a less amount of units overall you probably
(43:27) don't want to carry three four months worth of stock at a time cool but I think that covers a good chunk for Bath and Body Works obviously there's a lot of good potential here especially if we see other stuff that's currently on sale for Bath and Body Works so yeah that that's a good place to really get started um I would say every single day when you first start sourcing this is where a lot of my team first starts sourcing because we can start finding a lot of good stuff right off the Hop if we find some good sales
(44:02) right or if we like identify like a sitewide IH herb sale where it's like everything's on sale for 20% or 25% off it's like I'm spending probably 20 $30,000 today um we're not going to have solid sales come through absolutely every day but considering the amount of retailers we have in our database it's more common than not that at least one retailers put it on a solid sale it's going to make some good profit today but yeah just again keep in mind that all the PE all the retailers in this um list come from a retailer
(44:36) database and these have all been previously vetted uh we have actively sourced viable OA products from every single one of these retailers so not say that they're viable today but we have at some point sourced viable products from every single one of these retailers and it's coming up close to 1,200 retailers already okay so touch base on the retailer emails I also wanted to uh touch base on our sourcing through our actual database as well so this is something that probably a lot of people don't likely do and this might also open up your eyes to
(45:15) different types of methods that you can do or different ways you can find product leads so if you're unfamiliar uh if you go into the server and you go under the support and resources Channel under guides and resources you can click on any link that we have in there and it'll lead you to our getbook and this is where we have all of our prior calls save all our guides or resources Etc so under the resources under Amazon resources we have um a Arbitrage retailers list right here so we have a blacklist and we have our database so
(45:50) our blacklists have just been blacklisted for a variety of reasons we have that there for your reference if you also maybe don't Want To Source those retailers uh we actually put in here why we personally blacklisted them you can follow that advice or not completely up to you but we also have our database and again this is our database of retailers that we have sourced viable products from so we almost have like an unlimited amount of places we can start looking for products right A lot of people ask oh what kind
(46:22) of places can I buy products from in Canada besides like Walmart and Best buye can Tire this is where you can look we have a ton of sources and this is getting updated on a semi-regular basis uh I believe once I update the additional retailers that we have pending it'll be pretty close to 1300 retailers now so this is always getting updated uh but one thing I wanted to point out that would be some kind of lwh hanging fruit that you can Source some relatively easy ways to get started is looking at the retailers
(46:59) direct so anytime we have a direct retailer in here as in we're buying directly from the brand we always put in Brackets direct just to clarify that this is directly from the retailer okay so a lot there are a lot of products that make a lot of sense on Amazon buying directly from the retailer uh one because some of those Brands only sell direct to Consumer some of them you will not find in stores but two some of the ones that we do find in stores quite often we can find a better price from the retailer direct uh
(47:39) because that is one of the very uncommon occurrences that we actually are able to more consistently find um coupons because a lot of retailer direct websites will have some type of coupon whereas most most General uh Canadian retailers don't not a hard rule some of them will but as a general General kind of rule of thumb most of them don't but I would say the vast majority of direct retailers will okay so we can take that information and just start doing some pretty stereotypical sourcing where it's like oh Lululemon
(48:21) direct so that means that I know that we have found viable products from Lululemon before uh lemon may or may not have a coupon available uh because they the type of brand that would not but I know from just looking at that that there are probably profitable L Lululemon products on Amazon so we can start searching for Lululemon we obviously want to avoid the off-brand products but this looks like a actual name brand here is a potentially viable product these all look like off-brand products but here's a potentially viable
(48:57) product and then we can start digging into it and doing some research so this guy 50 plus bot per month list brand is Lululemon so it's listed proper uh recently sales history looks relatively solid so let's see if we can find this for 60 bucks or less so look at this $52 so everywhere belt bag large this is everywhere belt bag large for some reason this says red Mero but the picture shows black that may be something that especially for new sellers you may just want to proceed with a little bit of caution with
(49:40) because some people may be expecting a a red one when there's a black one here you may have a higher return rate but the picture and the description clearly shows black so if you are more established you're okay with having a little bit of returns this may be something worth looking into but we have black here this is large 52 bucks we might be able to find a coupon but even not at $52 we found a viable product so if we can sell Lula lemon there's only one other competitor on here this is something that is very profitable today
(50:11) and if we can find a coupon with lul lemon or find a discounted uh gift card it may even be more profitable I just want to say like in general lemon is probably not going to have coupons but we never know so that guy is potentially viable product that sells a decent amount and then we have the everywhere belt bag black this doesn't say it's large uh but even if it was large it may make sense by box right now is at that price uh let's see if it's this is a variation so we don't see sales up here we see that it had previously sold like
(50:53) consistently 50 plus units per month but that was at like 70 bucks it had sold it at like 90 but let's just see if it's been selling as of late as want to confirm so it has been selling some units as of late but probably not as much as it previously was at a lower price so it may sell you know 10 to 20 units per month depending on what we're able to see here right now but let's see if we can find this guy because I don't think this is the large variant this might be we might have to confirm Dimensions here this says seven and a
(51:31) half by 5 by two seven and a half by five by two so this is the guy here we see black see this guy is 44 bucks we already have the price in there so this is another product that is potentially viable as well we may have to consider that this guy may drop in price because it had previously sold at 6988 so is it still profitable at that price it is and if you're okay with that lower margin or if you're able to get it with a coupon code you may even want to drop the price yourself because it probably sells quite a few more units per month
(52:11) at that lower price so it might even generate more overall revenue and profit for you uh so Evan says given the array of variables you have to navigate to Source competently as a third party OA seller would you recommend that those who are relatively new to away limit themselves to say storefront stalking and rabbit ho holding by brand once they find a product that's viable whether it's from a lead list manual sourcing or some other method yes uh especially if you're the type that gets like analysis paralysis me I just love I just love D
(52:40) diving into all kinds of different things and oh shiny oo uh squirrel and looking over here over here and I can somewhat very unorganized manage that some people can't some people will just look at it like oh my God this is too much they get analysis paralysis if you are that person or if you feel like you're lost with sourcing or you're not having good success hone in and focus on any single method doesn't matter what it is storefront stalking is the easiest to get started with because it's just such a low barrier of entry and you're
(53:15) already using existing sellers inventory to find your own inventory it's the easiest way to get started uh it is the lowest hanging fruit but that doesn't mean that you still can't front stock when you're a super a super established say even multi-million dollar seller uh you can still find viable prodct store from stocking no matter what level you're at you just have to consider that generally speaking a lot of those products unless you're sourcing like sellers that many other people may have not found yet a lot of them are just
(53:48) going to be more prone to more eyeballs and potentially a little bit more tanky right but if you were like say the only person that was storefront stocking this store nobody else had any eyeballs on them because maybe they're not that big then it can become very interesting it can become very viable for a super long period of time until you know some people start watching you and then uh they start finding all your leads Etc then that then when that happens you just have to kind of become quicker and be first to the plate but yes tldr if
(54:20) you are overwhelmed if you're just getting started really Hing in on one method get really good with it and then slowly introduce additional methods as you go and then you'll slowly work your way off to somebody that can just kind of go anywhere and find prods no matter what you're doing but yeah we can see very quickly we already found two potentially very valuable products okay I'm not telling anybody in here to go buy these products because everybody that's in here may have the same idea and we may experience
(54:59) some tanking with that so just keep that in mind because we have more eyeballs on it but this should help inspire you on some additional ways you can start sourcing okay uh we see a lot of no-name brand stuff here we'll see if this trick still works it used to work quite a lot but what we would do is we would put quotation marks around what we're trying to search it's supposed to take out the other junk that doesn't actually have that in the name um but yeah it kind of looks like it doesn't doesn't work as well as it used to still gives us a lot
(55:29) of junk uh but yeah if we spend some more time through here and we pick out the lul lemon Brands we might be able to find some more stuff or if you pump this into like say keep a product finder and just look for L Lumber Lulu lber brand stuff you can source that way as well but yeah there's obviously probably multiple different listings here that are viable for Lulu Lemon and then from here if I'm a crossborder sorcerer as well I would also check on Canada or on amazon.
(56:07) com because it's also probably fairly likely that some of these products will also be viable on do as well so this guy may not look as interesting as of late it looked like it may have sold a little bit more back then what may have happened is maybe it was picking up more steam maybe it sold we went out of stock and then maybe started losing it sales rank in its steam but let's see if we are selling any units as of late so this guy isn't really moving any units right now it looks to me that it may have had a past of moving some units let me just
(56:44) take a quick peek here so it probably moved a lot better like the market probably demanded it a bit more around that $70 price range so if we are able to Source this for 44 bucks it might be okay if you're cool with that Roi or if you can get a coupon or discount gift card whatever um for those that are a little bit more experienced if you want to try to revive a listing this might be something that might be interesting to hop back on at that $70 price range throw some PPC into it and see if you can revive it right
(57:20) you're probably going to get a lot more sales around 775 it's probably just not as in demand at like 8280 plus dollars but this would be for somebody uh a strategy for somebody that has a little bit of additional Capital that they can play with uh this guy again it doesn't look like it's moving all too much it sold a lot more at 55 so this guy doesn't look quite as interesting I wouldn't even say it sells this many units here and see this is sometimes where we can see this stat and it may be a little bit deceiving because
(58:01) we see down here keepa says 50 plus Soul per month this I mentioned this in our lead analysis Channel at one point I believe but every so often I see a a lingering monthly sold stat lingering around and sometimes people may misconstrue that data so somebody that's brand new may look at this and be like oh it's it's selling here for 75 or $75 it must sell 50 plus units per month at $75 I don't believe that to be the case I believe it sells a lot more when somebody comes in stock at $55 somebody comes in stock sells out
(58:38) all their units right away that's what's contributing to that 50 plus sold per month so if you can Source it and be Prof at $55 it'll probably make sense but at $75 probably not so much cool so we have L lemon there uh I don't want to beat a dead horse with every method that we're doing because I want to go through a lot of different stuff but you can do that exact same thing I just did Blue Lemon with dozens and dozens and dozens of different brands that we have in this database right now and I guarantee you you're going to have
(59:13) a lot of success because I know because we Source Products from all these Brands right so the ones that you're going to be buying from direct maybe not Nintendo but if you look at something like otter wax you'll probably find some stuff maybe not Panasonic but pamper treft you're probably going to find some stuff uh maybe not Phillips unless you're going Canada to us but if we look at right diey or Rock tape you're probably gonna find some stuff Safety First you're you're going to find some stuff sadm you're going to find some
(59:46) stuff every brand is going to be a little bit different for how viable they're going to be but a lot of them are going to be very very valuable uh Evan says what OA sourcing method would you say is the least Pro into price tanking assuming that there is such a method the most prone uh least prone method to O to price tanking for OA sourcing is making your own listings because then you're going to be the one that establishes the market starts selling them you're going to get all the initial sales and then it's going to be
(1:00:17) x amount of months until somebody else finds them and start selling them as well um that's going to be the best one that's going to there's very small subset of sellers that do that very very high risk but if you're somebody that can like gauge it's like oh I can see like this brand has this variant of this product here they sell like this blueberry trail mix so I I I can almost guarantee that the cranberry mix will also sell well if you're willing to put in that little time and effort to make that listing send in the units wait a
(1:00:50) period of time for it to build up steam and consistently stock it there's some people that do very well with doing that but it takes a lot of additional work to do that and you have to have a lot of a different knowledge to be successful with that uh with other General methods manually finding products um and manually finding sales from a lot of more low-key retailers is going to be some of the best way that the best non-price tanking stuff you're going to have so like if you find like a lot of retailers that run One Day sales and
(1:01:25) they don't do it that often or you find stuff from uh retailers that nobody's ever heard of but you're going to probably find like 600 of those in this database sourcing from places like that from for stuff that you can't find anywhere else that's going to be extremely not prone to price tanking or if you find ra only products that are only available to buy ra those are going to be way less prone to price tanking because people are lazy most people don't want to go to the store so if they can't physically get it shipped to them
(1:01:55) for all you're going to weed out probably like 90% plus of sellers cool so we covered that guy so Evan says yeah I've been looking into ra more for that reason yeah and like you can even start at like your local places like Costco so Costco can be extremely viable there are more eyeballs on Costco than most other retailers because it's Costco but you can still find a ton of good stuff in there that is viable for a very long time uh because some of it's not available Nationwide uh some people just don't look through everything so if you
(1:02:43) do like manual sourcing like actually inside the store you can find a lot of good stuff um or if you kind of ride the Sal Cycles with Costco you can also get a lot of viability out of that you're going to see a lot of stuff that sells super super well uh it comes on sale sells even better when the price starts dipping because more and more people come on the listing still profitable at the very bottom but if you got in like in the first couple weeks of it being on sale you could have profited like quite a lot and a lot of those
(1:03:12) items sell multiple hundreds of units per month but you really just have to kind of write it uh Heine flip says yeah I just think of products like that for example some products get damage when people order them instead of pick up this has worked for me definitely and Evan said I found a lot of discontinu product just recently for example one doing ra and some local pharmacies 100% And you'll also find that if you start looking at discontinu products um specifically on Canada you can almost make your own market for those especially if you're
(1:03:45) doing FBA because there chances are most of them there's not even any other any other FBA sellers so if you can see like what it has sold for on Amazon.com or what it has uh realistically sells for consist on eBay you can really make your own market for that based on like okay it normally sells for 100 bucks on eBay Amazon most Amazon people are going to pay premium so I'm probably going to be able to realistically sell it for 120 150 right or send it over to the border to the US which a lot of them may have a
(1:04:15) a bigger market for that as well okay I also wanted to briefly touch base on sourcing through the actual Amazon leads that we provide in the server as well so the Amazon leads that we providing here they are all sourced and vetted just like leads that would be provided in our lead list so these are all vetted viable leads uh however everybody has different requirements so they're not going to be for everybody they're not going to be ungated for everybody and another thing to consider is that a lot of these leads have more
(1:04:55) eyeball on them than a lead list because we have more people in this server right so not all these products are going to stay super viable for very long especially if there's lots of stock available if we catch products like this where it's like discounted for a short period of time and it normally sells for a much higher price and nobody everybody here agrees not to be a dick and not kill the price yeah those guys are going to be viable for a very a very good period of time uh but for some other stuff if we have a 100 people looking at
(1:05:28) and buying the same product they're going to be less viable that's why you'll find quite often especially for the Canadian stuff I tend to post a lot of stuff that's like on sale more limited for that reason because I know that that happens okay and I want to avoid that as much as possible because I know some people are going to come in here wanting to just find products directly here to make a profit and that's cool but you should also like I mentioned before not have blinders on when you're sourcing when you start
(1:05:56) seeing stuff that's posted in here start thinking about oh well what other stuff can I find that's also viable right so if we start seeing stuff that's posted in here and we have even posted like small Le lists in here like completed lists uh let's see when the last one was I just like looking through procs that way a little bit better it's just easier and nicer to look at Amazon leads list I don't think that's the last one that we had let's see if we can find docs.
(1:06:40) Google that doesn't help that doesn't help let's just look through that guy then so ever so often if we have like a bunch of leads to pump into here I'll put them together in a lead format or a format it just works a little bit better okay so this was like a bunch of stuff that was on sale at iherb so like if you get this guy and you say oh like we have a ton of stuff that's on sale at iherb that we can buy cool I wouldn't stop right there I would start sourcing everything else that's at IH herb as well that was is going to by
(1:07:17) default have less eyeballs okay I want to find another one that has more variety of products in here one second look at this guy uh Bell says what's your strategy for sellers that are not patient with the buy box who tank prices when every seller is at the same price do you set your price as theirs or do you let them do their thing and keep your price the same going to be different for everybody and sometimes it's going to be a case by case basis for me I know that the market can be pretty volatile so I typically
(1:08:01) don't want to sit on stock so if there's indication that the price is going down I would personally rather follow that price and be profitable all the way down until I SLE my units and let that other person figure out their because I don't know if they're going to restock I don't know if they're going to try and dominate the listing so I'd rather consistently sell my units and get out of that inventory versus sit there and wait and you know twiddle my thumbs and then check this listing every like a couple times a week and see once they
(1:08:29) actually finally sell out it's like okay now I can make my extra $2 profit per unit um some people want to do that that's fine um at a certain scale it becomes relatively difficult to do that because you have to watch so many listings and like I said I'm in the business of moving product I'm not in the business of watching other other people and uh attempting to extract you know an extra dollar or two out of my listing just for when it maybe recovers I would rather get as much money out of that listing as I as I can re qualify it
(1:09:02) when I look relook at the inventory to see if it makes sense for us today to resend it in if not move on to some more inventory because there's hundreds of hundreds of hundreds of thousands of other products I can find there's no sense of sticking around and getting married to individual products uh he find flips asks def factoring gift cards cash back sites Etc into your cost of goods no and I would not recommend that you do either that can be very dangerous just consider it yourself like a nice little bonus
(1:09:29) there's some people that operate basically exclusively on the cash back it's like their net profit is zero and they're just extracting cash back points gift cards Etc as like their quotequote profit try and Dodge taxes it can get very dangerous if you do that you have to be very very Adept if you want to do that properly and not go to jail so anyway when we find a list like this what we should also do is we should also see if we can find anything else from these brands or from these retailers that also makes sense okay so like Funko
(1:10:07) is going to be like hit and miss if we're going to find ones that are viable uh Cabellas we've recently blacklisted because they're painly ass get products from but if you're able to go in store and buy these products Bass Pro hats still may be viable for you they just tend to cancel a lot of online orders uh but let's find something that may may have some broad horizons for us so we potentially have dap that we may want to look at maybe Roberts maybe Royal K9 or Canin however you pronounce it maybe intersense let's take a look at inter
(1:10:40) sense here okay oh I have to allow that let's do that again so this one's no longer uh available at Indigo that's okay so obviously at one point this was viable uh we have seen certainly some ups and downs with this guy we have seen some Downs as of late but it has been on the incline recently as well so it has been getting a little bit more stable as of recently so it probably will stay a little bit stable for a while uh if we don't see a bunch of more eyeballs on this it'll probably increase a little bit and then it might level out or come
(1:11:25) back down but let's see if we can find uh to see if this makes sense for us today somewhere else so we're looking at a buy box about 45 bucks we're looking to Source it for what 27 bucks or less so we're looking for sweet Spirit leave-in conditioner so that's close I'm just going to take a look at that guy let's see if they have any options just scrolling through to see if I find any or see any potentially viable retailers I typically don't like spending a ton of time on any individual product so I tend to skim through
(1:12:09) relatively quickly but this is leave-in conditioner that's 36 bucks that is too expensive this is 2880 I believe that's the same product it appears that it is uh save up to 20% so that's already on sale with this one it's very close so I believe I want to recall that we have seen some coupon codes at tommy guns in the past just because we have I'm going to try I'm going to move this just so my if my address pops up it doesn't get exposed here just I pull the cart usually for most retailers I wouldn't bother but I just recall for
(1:12:53) some reason I think tommy guns had a discount code at one point okay so I don't think I see any of my details GNA get exposed here so we'll bring this guy back one second okay so let's see if we can find a coupon for this guy so I'm going to activate one of my coupon things here doesn't find any here and again most of the time I wouldn't even bother spending my time to do this if it wasn't the brand direct it's just I believe I have found a coupon code from tommy guns before and that just makes me want to try because
(1:13:50) it's a very close product to being profitable and if we can find something that's like 10 15 20% off it'll certainly put us some profit so I'm just going to quickly Google uh tommy guns Canada coupon code we may be able to get a 10% off discount on your next order let's see here these are specific products that are discounted so it's not an actually discount code I'm just going to look at a coup these guys most of the time these guys do not work but just want to try as a just in case and it looks like we found
(1:14:33) one nice so that discounted it by how much 3496 divided by 17479 so that gave us 20% off cool so uh our buy cost was 2880 minus 20% our buy cost is is now 2304 I think this is now a viable product so yeah this guy is now profitable cool and then from here we can start even going deeper and start doing some of that rabbit hole sourcing I know inner sense is viable this guy sells 50 plus per month this does have a little bit of a shaky past so for those that are a little bit more risk averse you may want to avoid it because it only
(1:15:17) has been stable for about a month uh for me I would probably be okay with it but for some others you may not but we know that Tommy Gun tommy guns has intersense on sale they probably have other intersense brand products on sale as well and that coupon code is probably sitewide so like just double check let's just grab a random one so this one's 15% off but we can probably get oops I don't want to do that hold on don't show my info at the cart delete that guy and yeah it looks like it's applying sitewide so we now know that this
(1:16:09) discount applies sitewide so what we should do from here is we should do a search for intersense on Amazon pull up every product and then cross reference that on tommy guns and or check additional retailers as well right uh Roots keeps on growing asks if I source with ta if so is it worth it that's something that we'll discuss uh shortly I have very strong opinions about ta uh but we'll get into that once we get through the segment uh but yeah so guarantee here we can probably find a ton of stuff from inner sense itself that's
(1:16:51) profitable from tommy guns and then if that coupon code is sitewide we can start looking at some of like their other discounted products and sourcing the rest of their website as well right so we can start we'll see if they have a sales section which they do you don't always have to start in the sales section it's just typically easier if you're manually sourcing products you're just going to have a typically higher success rate looking at products that are on sale and we can start looking through these Brands one by
(1:17:22) one a lot of these Brands you probably just want to double check quickly to see if it's viable for you just to sell because a lot of these brands are going to be locked down but some of these brands are not and they're going to be completely open and some of them are going to make a whole lot of sense because they're on sale and we can stack another coupon code on top of it so this is something that if you're having trouble sourcing you should spend some time with this this specific sale and this spe specific uh coupon code right
(1:17:49) now but yeah I can guarantee that will probably pull out with inner sense just because I'm familiar with that brand and probably at least five six Prof AC probably even more and then from there when we find a product that's viable we can then start storefront stocking those stores as well and start going down more rabbit holes so like we Source this awaya so chances are other stores that are in here have probably also sourced it away some of them may have suppliers but chance are a good chunk of these guys are probably OA OA Sorcerers so we can
(1:18:29) pull up their storefront and then we can start storefront stocking that store and we're probably start finding more stuff then we start looking into those Brands and the sellers on those Brands etc etc and we keep going down those rabbit holes so I know I've been talking about like a lot of stuff um anybody have any questions about anything we've touched based on so far we've already found a really good handful of products and like just for full disclosure uh none of this was Prior prepared so like I knew some of the methods that I wanted
(1:19:09) to discuss but I didn't come here specifically looking for any of these Brands this is all off the fly so I didn't prepare any of these brands that were sourcing whatsoever cool so well everybody's festering there um I'll answer the question about ta so ta I have very strong opinions about because I believe since they've sold to three Colts that three Colts has basically completely that software it used to work so much better uh in my opinion you can still find Prof prodcts on ta and I kind of wanted to touch B based on uh one method that I
(1:19:57) believe still does really work uh but it produces so much junk if you're doing regular searches uh so much more than what it used to that it makes more sense to spend your time sourcing via other methods because if you're going to be weeding through that much junk why would you want to do it on ta where you're going to have so many people looking through the exact same stuff if you're running a scan of Walmart you can guarantee that there's probably probably hundred other people in your city if you're in Toronto that have run
(1:20:27) that exact same search probably every single week and they probably have for the last 10 years right so you're all going to be looking at the same stuff if you really Branch out and into like a lot of different X pass and get more creative with souring on ta it becomes a little bit more viable um but in my opinion it hasn't been what it used used to be for a long time uh one thing that does work sourcing ta is utilizing their Quick Pick section it used to be called quick search uh you can have mixed results with this and you can technically use
(1:21:09) this for Canada to us sourcing as well just kind of doing some additional manual work uh but when we come into here what I like to do is I like to show the graph and then I also like to apply some filters so apply buy some basic filters so like say you want a minimum profit of three bucks and say 20% Roi uh try to be relatively loose with your filters because with software if you get too too specific you're going to miss out on some stuff that is like pretty good stuff uh sellers less than doesn't really matter sales rank less than this
(1:21:46) is going to get rid of a lot of junk so like say we can probably do like 20 maybe up to like 30k so let's just try 20K depending on the categories we're looking at some are going to be higher than others and then that's probably all I want to do click apply and then in here if you check it on a regular basis you can regularly pull out some good stuff from here with relatively minimal effort because it's basically combining everybody's cach data from their searches that they've previously done and making it available
(1:22:20) to everybody so if it's a non-custom website if it's just a regular website and you run a scan those details get put into here for everybody to search through so that also brings additional eyeballs on to it right um they did this because another software that's being developed has something similar and they're just trying to compete with them 100% that's what they're doing uh but we can relatively easily see you know if it's a product match um quite often we will find a lot of mismatches because Amazon will be like a
(1:22:59) multi pack we'll find that quite quite a lot uh can we actually see if we hover over here so yeah if we hover over here we can see the actual title on Amazon so we can see if it's a multi pack or not like this guy here this is a two- pack on Amazon but tactical Arbitrage is vetting it as in like a one pack that cheap enough so it still might be profitable but yeah we just have to keep that in mind so if you look through here uh we can regularly find some stuff but we still have to look through a lot of junk uh let me just allow
(1:23:41) that click that I find um a lot that you're going to find on here is if you're watching this pretty closely and you catch those items that are on sale for a very limited time that's going to be like where some of the most value comes out of utilizing this section of ta we can see in this case it looks like it vetted the wrong size so it said that it was $13 uh however the 12 ounce is $30 the 3.
(1:24:16) 4 ounce is 13 and we find this a lot with ta straight mismatches straight junk and whether that's their quick search or like their regular search this happens consistently and this was an issue a long time ago and I mentioned it a long time ago still an issue today in my opinion it's just gotten worse over time it hasn't gotten better and they don't really uh do anything to be proactive to fix it unfortunately so this guy um if we want to utilize some of the tools in our server as well this is where we can also do that so we can see like last time it
(1:24:51) found this product it found it in stock for 19 99 so assuming that is correct this might be actually a profitable product uh sells 50 plus per month uh maybe probably on average it sells yeah it'll probably on average sell closer for like 49 bucks but if we can Source this for 20 that's a pretty viable product uh Mastermind toy is a Shopify website if we want to double check of it's Shopify we can grab that link come into our bot commands type inward slis Shopify put that URL in there and it'll tell us if it's a Shopify
(1:25:43) website so it is cool that means that we know by default our private restock monitors cover all Shopify sites so if I'm interested in this product I can put this in my private restock monitor so you can check the command list under restock monitors private gives you a rundown on how it works gives you a video walkthrough on how it works as well but we can message our bot we can add this guy to our monitor M add Shopify link and now the next time if that comes back in stock at Mastermind Toys I'm going to get a DM directly from our bot within
(1:26:30) seconds then I can buy that and sell those sell those guys we can also obviously reverse search this one to see if we can find it anywhere else uh but that's a really good price chances are most of the places are probably going to be a little bit more expensive yeah it's usually close to like 25 bucks Pokemon Center may may get it for 20 so that's a good price too and we can also monitor Pokemon Center so you can throw Pokemon Center in your private restocks too and this might be a viable product for that so yeah like also like again
(1:27:02) circling back to the top of the conversation uh what I mentioned don't have blinders on when you're sourcing make sure like I mentioned you're a little bit curious and be like oh yeah maybe this product doesn't look cool right now because it's not in stock but do we have resources available in the server that I can use like those restock monitors we do excellent I can just add that quickly put that in like a product to watch spreadsheet and then just wait till I get a DM and then I can buy those guys really easy and if we're doing that relatively
(1:27:34) consistently um you'll start building a lead pipeline that feeds you profitable products every single day and it'll become extremely easy for you to Source there have there have been days where I have sourced for like specifically Canada to us sourcing where I can just look through one of my seller watch threads that are that's monitoring Canada to us specific sellers just looking through that thread in say 45 minutes or an hour I can find 20 30 profitable products for Canada to us and those tend to be products that are
(1:28:11) usually a bit harder to find but because I loaded everything up did that front end work now I can benefit it from from it on the back end if that makes sense so yeah like I still believe that there's some viability here for ta uh in my opinion the quick search function is one of the most viable uh their regular searches have not been as viable in my experience as of late um the only time it's really going to be that viable for you is if you're trying to be like first to the hop on something that's on sale because you'll
(1:28:50) load up the search you'll get the results right away and then will load in here for everybody else or if you have like your custom xass but those have been consistently busted all the time uh so here's another one so is this guy Prof at $45.99 potentially doesn't look like it sells a ton but it sells a healthy amount profit is super healthy is this the same so this is a box set uh card base set says it's a box set looks like a match cool so yeah let's load up this guy on GameStop and wait for it to restock let's see if we can find it
(1:29:33) anywhere else and this guy's also potentially profitable uh GameStop may just have it on sale so that's why their price is so favorable cardboard connection I don't believe is a retailer from what I recall it's just double check I think that's a US retailer but it's out of stock 401 games doesn't have inst stock but I believe that's a Shopify site so you can load up that guy in your restock monitor if you want uh Lids may have it interesting see yeah nothing here that's not a retailer if it makes sense at this price
(1:30:11) you can load up this guy for restock uh Lids has it for quite a bit higher but still even potentially profitable at that price yeah still a healthy profit at that price not going to move like hundreds of units but you'll probably be able to move a good couple per month I would double check that seller to see if they are a US seller but chances are they probably are let's just double check J&M Collectibles they certainly are so we just kind of minus their stock out of our estimates so doesn't say it sells 50 plus per
(1:30:50) month but realistically this probably sells 30 40ish units per month and there's only one buy box seller on here so you can probably sell a good 10 units yourself per month so even at the price that's available at right now you can probably make about 200 bucks off this product if you want yeah any questions about any of that stuff so far so we can see here and again this kind of again circles back to I guess this is the topic of this conversation is to not have those blinders on because we' seen this on uh tactical Arbitrage
(1:31:35) out of stock most people stop right there carry on but we took a few a little bit of additional time to see if we can find it somewhere else and we did it's still profitable now we can make money from it most people are not going to do that don't have the blinders on be curious uh Lily says how do you quickly determine who is a US seller so with that the reason why I said that so quickly is because when we're looking at the offers tab by Prime and historical offers they were an anomaly with how much stock they had so like they have a
(1:32:09) lot of stock they like carry 100 plus units where like these sellers carry like 30 20 units so that's a anomaly that sticks out to me right so I automatically assume if there's one seller in there that just has a massive a massive higher stock than everybody else or sells a ton more than everybody else I automatically assume that they are a US seller so I just double check just to confirm my suspicion and we can just look in here quickly and then in those cases we wouldn't want to factor in their stock counts with our
(1:32:42) estimations uh because we don't know if they're selling specifically stock from the US market or in Canada because it's shared between the two so to better play it safe we wouldn't want to fact back those guys in but yeah just when we see anomalies like that that just like really stick out compared to everything else then that's when it just raises a red flag and makes me want to take a little bit of a deeper a deeper dive on those guys so yeah any questions about any of that stuff so far before we continue on
(1:33:19) here cool so uh the I that's all I'm really going to touch base with on ta specifically um again there is obviously still some viability here with ta uh whether it's regular searches or their quick search but I think it's just run its course and it's not what it used to be you can still definitely find profitable products here um it can still be viable to run scans from like us to ca or CA to us you can still find some stuff like that but again I find other methods you can find a lot more products lot more efficiently doing it outside of
(1:33:56) ta so in my opinion it's not as viable but you can still find stuff um the additional thing that I want to mention is sourcing in the server is we discussed like looking through all the leads looking through flip call outs stuff like that uh another place that you can Source regularly is looking through some of our deal channels and so you can either do it one of two ways ways you can skim through the deal channels that we have manually or you can start setting yourself some keywords and for those that are unfamiliar uh what you can do is in our
(1:34:37) command list we have something called a keyword Pinger and what this allows you to do is set basically any keyword for almost any channel in the server that you want and then whenever that keyword is detected in that channel it'll then ping you for that product and it'll also send you a DM about that product as well so it makes it a lot easier to look through the stuff that potentially interests you right so you need to set individual keywords for individual channels so it does take a little bit of a setup uh but
(1:35:09) once you have it where you want it it can be an extremely efficient way to look through the thousands if not tens of thousands of different posts we have coming through in our server via Bots every single day you don't have to do it it just makes it easy here right and we have in our prior session about the server features so if you look in our general calls for the server feature demo we went through utilizing keywords quite a lot in there so you can look through that call there and see a real breakdown on how to utilize keywords okay so for
(1:35:48) myself I have a ton of different keywords set for a ton of different channels because I'm looking for a ton of different stuff basically to bring to everybody else's attention uh but I do utilize this quite often to Source Products as well so we can see like it detected the keyword for me PlayStation in a channel it's looking for concerts for me new announcements for concerts for me it's looking for the the the keyword PlayStation for the uh anything that the Billy iser store drops so anything that interests you you can set
(1:36:20) a keyword for and then get notified about it right I look for pack of quite often in the deal channels because a lot of items that have pack of in the name end up getting uh discounted in error so like multi packs is something like a m like a 24 pack of cat food that we see that is priced for 81 cents so I want to see those before anybody else does so we can bring that to everybody's attention right and so I get probably hundreds of these uh notifications every single day and makes it relatively easy where I can
(1:36:54) just skim through here and then look at the stuff that's potentially interesting right uh the more specific you get the less junk that's going to be produced but you're just going to have a little bit uh potential that some things may be not come through you may miss a few things right so typically I I find you don't want to get too too specific but you can get as specific as you want okay it seemed like it was pulling through a lot of funkos today because I like looking at new listings for funkos there was a restock for this Barbie doll
(1:37:29) it's retails for 150 and it's reselling right now on eBay for 300 guarantee if it's not already on Amazon it's probably goingon to be on Amazon in the near future it's probably going to be pretty profitable uh let's see if we can find this guy in Amazon this guy's still pretty new so might not be on here yet but I guarantee you probably within probably like a month and a half this is going to be on both probably Canada and the US but probably the US first and it's probably going to be extremely profitable the
(1:38:07) uh so we don't see this one do we see it on the us so we don't see this one yet but you could also be the one that makes that listing right and then you can basically control the market until other people start hopping on uh let's just look for example uh prior prior releases from prior years Barbie I'm not going to see all the results because it says deliver it to Canada and I can't change that address unless I log in and if I log in you're going to see my company details so I can't do that so we're going to be
(1:38:43) missing out on some things here but I want to see the designer doll from a few years ago let's see if we find it in Canada here I want to find the designer ones we'll take a look at that guy in the US we'll take a look at that guy in the US I don't think those are the designer guys that's a designer guy right there so this was like the same addition thing that was released um last year as this Sky that's on this year we can see it didn't really have serious volume in Canada but it had sold for like 300 plus dollars in Canada uh had it sold in the
(1:39:28) US this guy sold a whole lot more in the US and it's actively selling for 300 plus USD in on amazon.com right and this is like the same series as this guy is and this guy has sold out so we can probably relay that this one will have a very similar uh trajectory as this one did this one might have a higher demand just because of the the pink color with Barbie um this one didn't have quite as high a demand this year but it's still sold out and it's still actively selling for $300 plus dollars on eBay so there's
(1:40:03) absolutely zero reason why it wouldn't also sell for that on amazon.com uh he find flip says how do you determine if something is a viable a2a lead is it just consistent price history with a higher price but current price is lower and suitable buy cost how do you know when to get on the listing also is it strictly listings you would buy from Amazon Amazon or even third party sellers good questions so let's look at our a2a monitors that we have so you can find uh a2a flips or Amazon to Amazon flips all different
(1:40:35) kinds of ways so you can find them manually you can look through keep a product finder you can look through our deal channels I've seen some servers that have basically these exact same deals coming through and they call them a TOA monitors which they're not that's just funny um but we also have dedicated a2a monitors as well that take out a lot of the guess work for you so these are still not perfect they're still Bots we still have to do a lot of the vetting ourselves but the a2a monitors here what they're doing is they're looking for a
(1:41:06) product that has a higher selling price on average over the last 90 days versus the selling price today so it's detecting products that have had price drops today and on average they sell for a lot more okay whereas if you just look at like a deal monitor some of these products are going to be on sale today uh but maybe we'll just grab one of these guys for example maybe on average this guy right now it says it's discounted to $26 today but yeah like it had sold for $40 some dollars but it's not vetting for volume
(1:41:43) some of these guys go up and down for prices whereas with the dedicated a2a monitors they're looking for things that are more stable okay and that makes sense so there is an entire guide on a2a flips if you look at our resources so you can just grab this guy here looking guides and resources and it shows you how to use the a2a monitors and then there's also an entire intro for a2a flips as well uh I believe it was I'll have to find it I believe it was a while ago introduction to Amazon to Amazon flips and a2a Bot so yeah it's all in one so
(1:42:31) there's an intro to the a2a bot and there's a whole intro for Amazon to Amazon flips discussing what they are how different ways to Source them Etc okay that gives you a lot more detail a lot more knowledge knowledge uh before you uh dig deeper into it but with a2a flips most people stick with stuff that is sold by Amazon only you can actually buy from third party sellers on Amazon and resell back on Amazon that's the only platform where Amazon will accept those invoices from any other platform like Best Buy Home
(1:43:10) Depot wherever else has third party sellers they will not accept invoices from those third partyy Sellers and you should never buy from third party sellers to sell on Amazon but on Amazon itself you can okay um obviously there's kind of a hierarchy so the best is Amazon second best or FBA sellers third best are fbm sellers you can still Source from all of them uh but when you start sourcing from third party sellers your invoice is going to be okay your invoice is going to cover your ass but you still want to do a little bit more
(1:43:43) due diligence just to make sure that those products are legit that they're not damaged that they are the products that they're supposed to be because we know that there's a lot of third party sell that may not pay attention they may intentionally or unintentionally sell fake products so you just want to make sure you do that extra due diligence just so you don't get caught with your pants down okay but it has been it doesn't specifically state in Amazon's terms of service about buying from third party platforms we just know from a lot
(1:44:13) of history that other platforms no good with invoices and we've seen a ton of history with uh section three suspensions and Amazon requesting invoices for reimbursement that invoices from thir party sellers on their platform works fine okay so again when we're looking through the a TOA monitor just like with anything else that's produced from a bot we still have to do additional digging in here because there's still going to be some junk results that get produced because the bot can only take us so far it can only see so much data it can only
(1:44:50) vet things to a certain extent um so we're not going to find viable products in here every single time we look through here but we find products that are viable in here quite often okay you just have to be willing to search through them so what I'm looking through here I'm looking for stuff that typically has not a ton of variations on it I want to see products that typically sell a fair amount of units per month that have a good profit margin and that the keep a graph doesn't indicate that we see any um sudden price inflations that may
(1:45:25) skew what I'm looking for okay so I'm just going to scroll through until we find something that's potentially viable like this guy may even be viable we'll take a look at this guy but we'll find a few additional things as well uh whenever I can I haven't had time uh very recently but I have quite often in the past sourced through here myself and then when we see viable products in here put them in put them in the Amazon lead section and call that out for everybody uh I just haven't had a whole lot of time as of late to do that but that's
(1:45:57) good for everybody else CU it's going to have less eyeballs if you're willing to spend time to Source through here I avoid stuff that look like they're probably going to be private label products or that they have like Chinese names um our monitors will filter out a lot of those products but some will still slip through just the nature of how things go uh but let's see what we can find here I want to take a look at that that guy and let's take a look at this guy so let's see what we had found so this one detected that there
(1:46:38) was a price drop uh and it was selling for 3915 and so we can see over here it was in fact selling for about $39 it still is today and on average it has sold for a lot more uh this one it doesn't look like it had a ton of volume at the higher price uh but if that's interesting to you obviously that's something you can look at not too interesting to me so I'm going to skip on that guy uh this one detected a price drop for $49.
(1:47:08) 99 it's a third party seller I don't know if I'm going to be able to prove any sales here so he's probably a US seller is he is not they have stock directly in Canada so I'm going to try and make some guesstimation here okay to gauge on how much this product actually sells at a higher buy box price so like it had normally sold for like 99.
(1:47:41) 99 we don't know if the seller incorrectly priced their inventory or if they're dropping it trying to clear it out or if they're trying to dominate the the listing at this price we don't know that right now but we can try to gauge on how many units it used to sell at the higher price so what I do is I take kind of like a one Monon rough period when it was at the higher price because we can see the price history over here we can see the stock history over here so on like say September 1st they had 193 in stock and then if we go down to October
(1:48:16) 1st they had 191 in stock so they only sold two in that time period okay it looks like they may potentially have sold more units in this period here however it's unclear because this is a very unclear listing being the variation let's see if we can prove any sales via reviews here so this is the d1s 6500k d1s 6500k what I'm looking for is I'm just looking for recent reviews or consistent reviews for this specific variation so it tells me the size right here and typically speaking um as a general rule very loose
(1:49:09) rule but you'll typically see about one feedback or one review for every about 100 sales okay that can certainly fluctuate but you can reasonably infer that like say if you see one review every single month consistently that item probably on average sells around 100 units per month right if you see uh one review every two months and it's a consistent it probably sells you know around 50 units per month okay this is not a perfect way to estimate sales um but it's if we don't have any other data any other way this
(1:49:48) is one of the only ways we can try and infer that data so I don't see any recent reviews for this variation here the seller stock count where it did show that some sales actually occurred looked kind of more like just kind of a cliff dive versus just general gradual sales and on a listing that doesn't really sell that many units we typically wouldn't see something like this unless it was just like a fluke and one person bought that many units which we can't really infer consistent sales if that happens so I probably only reasonably
(1:50:23) expect that this particular variation maybe sells at the higher price that we're wanting to sell it for maybe two maybe upwards of like five to six per month so it may be worth it because it may have a decent profit margin if you're wanting to take a look at it it's not that interesting to me but for some it may be so you might be able to profit 30 bucks a unit so you might only be able to sell one or two per month so it may be worth it for some people to just buy a couple units in sentiment with this one for most a2a
(1:50:59) flips What will what we'll see is we'll see a temporary price decrease and we'll see it increase relatively short shortly thereafter towards right in this particular case because it's a third party seller and they have some pretty heavy stock we don't really know what they're going to do in this case so if somebody were interested in doing this I would typically recommend that you do this with a third party seller but you can if you want to buy them hold on to them because you have a 30-day return window after November 1st you
(1:51:35) have until the end of January see what happens and then if it doesn't recover in price send your units back I would typically only recommend that you do that with Amazon uh but I mean you do you right it's a lot the is some profit potential there it's just very iffy with that guy with this guy I don't even want to look at this because normally it sells for a lot less there was just kind of a temporary price increase there let's see what else we can find we have found some really good stuff through here uh there was
(1:52:14) a what was that brand High smile lead that I always talk about because High smile up their pricing and they priced something they priced the 28 pack on Amazon for $10 of like some teeth whitening strips and on their website uh the 14 pack or 14 treatments or 14 strips whatever it was was $10 so they priced the incorrect skew on Amazon for the incorrect price and it was themselves directly uh but sold and shipped by Amazon so FBA and they had I think those like 800 units in stock and and normally it sells for like
(1:52:55) um I think it normally sold for like $35 or $40 and they had it priced for1 and so I looked at it I was like oh I can just buy all 700 units of these myself and probably sell them all and profit and they sold a really good amount but I was like I guess I should provide everybody else some value so provide that lead to everybody else uh there were some other members that took advantage of it one guy bought them sent them in said he profited about $1,000 on the few lead that he bought he said he should have bought more but then by that
(1:53:25) time they were out of stock right but they were in stock for that lower price and it took them I think about two weeks to sell out of all 700 units and if you had the capital you could have definitely bought them all and that was found by our a28 monitors okay so this guy here it normally sells for a bit more looks like this one had a temporary dip uh does this guy actually sell any units let's take a look this guy probably doesn't sell a whole lot to be interested in so I'll skip on that guy this one may be interesting what did
(1:54:00) we find here so this one obviously sells a lot more units per month um what did it pick up for our price so it picked up a buy cost of $30.99 and it normally sells for about 56 so it was selling for a lot more it did look like it was selling 100 plus per month so this is another one like most AA flips are not so questionable this one is a little bit more questionable um obviously with this one it's a fbm seller so you'd have to be comfortable buying from an fbm seller and you'd obiously have to ensure that it's going to be free free
(1:54:45) delivery uh you'd want to ensure you vet your products and then if all that's good and the price recovers if this fbm seller goes off the listing we may be able to bring the buy back the buy box back up to 59 bucks and it does look like at that price it was selling 100 plus units per month so if you're okay with buying from an fbm seller and you can get the stock for the price that you want it for um this could potentially be a viable lead it was vetting in at $33.
(1:55:18) 99 it did go down as cheap as $1 18.99 so if we could pick this up for $18.99 and resell it back for $59 it's a pretty decent profit right there's just um this one's a little bit more questionable compared to some regular a2a flips just because of the different variables that are happening here any questions about a2a flips or anything else that I've discussed so far whether you want to type in the chat or come on the mic yes no maybe cool so we discussed that I'm just kind of Crossing off a loose agenda as we go um oh yes I want to reull back up
(1:56:15) tactical Arbitrage here to kind of show you a method that we have been using a little bit to do some CH us sourcing and you can do this with other other software as well uh but if we look in something like uh let's pull this back up here in the quick search uh right now it doesn't allow us to Source cross Marketplace for the quick search so we can't Source from US to Canada it's us to us okay but what we can do is we can try to take some knowledge that we may have for Canada to us sourcing try to manipulate some of the
(1:57:00) results that we see here and then do some manual searching so like this is a little bit more labor intensive but if you get relatively proficient with this method it can be relatively effective um so I know from my personal history with Canada US sourcing uh in general we see a lot of toys that do really well cross cross Marketplace a lot of toys a lot of video games a lot of electronics a lot of small appliances and then a lot of Canadian specific consumables so like Canadian specific food candy bars stuff like that okay
(1:57:36) there's obviously other products that also still do well but those are like some of like the heavy hitter categories that do consistently well from Canada to us and so I don't know if this method is going to work today but we're going to try so what I'm going to do is I'm going to set some um General filters doesn't matter as much here but what we're trying to do is we're basically trying to find products that are on sale in Canada uh more or less ignore the data that we see on Amazon Canada and then just see if it makes sense to send it
(1:58:12) over the border to the US okay so there's nothing special about this method uh it's just about kind of finding products that are in our categories kind of more in bulk okay so I'll just say 520 I'm going to specify my category in this uh in this instance and say I just want to look for toys and games okay no specific Brands say I want to find Amazon and stock doesn't matter we'll see here and then I'm still going to use a sales rank uh functionality here because what this is going to tell me is that this is going to be a more
(1:58:50) popular product in Canada and by default it probably still has popularity in the US as well just enhance with their Marketplace so I'm going to say like say maybe 15K or lower we might even have to go 10K or lower uh let's just try 10K just for fun and let's see what we can find here so again this is a lot more manual searching but if you do this um and you get proficient with it you can find a lot of stuff that other people are not finding these methods are just not available to them uh so we see our Pokemon one from
(1:59:27) earlier so let's just take a look at that guy CU that might be available that might be viable in the US uh Lego isn't really viable for many of us anymore right now I want to take a look at this guy I want potentially take a look at that guy I'm just looking at anything that looks like it potentially sells a decent amount we should exclude eBay from our list uh let's take a look maybe at that guy we'll pull up just a couple products here and then we'll see what we can find and I'm kind of just being selective based on my prior history with
(2:00:06) things that I have found that have been viable in the past so I think that's the same product that we seen earlier let's look at the Holiday Calendar here and let's just see what we find here so basically what I'm doing is I'm changing it over to the US market right away and you can also do this the opposite way as well so you can start in the US Marketplace so do us us sourcing and then try to reverse search and find those products in Canada as well either method does actually work so we see that this is selling a
(2:00:41) decent amount in the US we're looking for a Max buy cost of $25 us chances are if I'm doing Canada to us sourcing I'll have my parameters set a little bit differently for probably uh a higher prep cost just for the additional crossborder fees but on my secondary screen here I'm going to type in $25 us so that means my Max buy cost is going to be about 34 bucks so I'm just going to do a quick search for it see if I can find it anywhere for about that price if not continue on to the next the next item and again here GameStop it might be
(2:01:16) viable so GameStop has some in store so if I'm able to pick it up in store this one's not not going to be super profitable uh but it's going to have some profit it's going to look about like that uh but it does sell a good amount per month and it's probably going to stay relatively consistent in the holiday season after without of holiday season it's going to just die so that might be viable to pick up in store if somebody's interested in those margins or add a restock monitor for those guys let's see what else we
(2:01:46) can find going to change right over are the prices on your seller amp converted so well when I'm looking at the US Marketplace it's showing me the amounts in USD right so like these are the amounts that it's selling in the US USD uh for me usually if I'm doing like sourcing to send to the US I actually have a separate sell ramp account that we only use for like us Marketplace so like Canada to us so it has a different um prep amounts added in the backend and shipping amounts per pound uh but you can go on the backend settings on seller
(2:02:27) amp change your home Marketplace from CA to.com and then change any of your prep costs accordingly but like the prices that we see here are USD yes so this one I know my Max cost is $18 uh us so I'm just kind of pulling up on Google here so I know my Max cost is about 18 bucks so I just go like this so I know my my Max cost Canadian is about 25 bucks and I have that on a secondary screen and I just see if I'm able to find that for around that price anywhere in Canada right uh these guys are a bit too expensive that's getting close but it's
(2:03:05) still quite a few dollars expensive so this guy I typically only look through like maybe the first two pages of Google and then carry on doesn't look that viable so we carry on to the next one and quite often when you're doing this you'll also quite often find products that you can just buy from canada.com Orca and send directly to uh.
(2:03:35) com obviously this guy is not viable based on that price there and if you wanted to instead of switching back and forth like this you can also use that International keepa stuff that we talked about earlier uh I like actually seeing the the real pricing though so that's why I like I prefer to do it this way so this guy I'm just going to infer some uh some things that Amazon themselves are selling this for 70 bucks my Max cost in the US is going to be $17 us Amazon is typically very price competitive on their listings not always but they tend to watch a lot of
(2:04:14) retailers so generally speaking if I see Amazon is at a price that is outside of my parameters I typically won't spend the time trying to look that item up every now and again you might surprise yourself uh however just in my experience probably about 90 90% of the 90 to 95% of the time Amazon is probably going to have the most competitive price that we see online unless it's like against like a really small Niche place so I typically won't spend my time looking up if I see that but of course you can always feel free to do so
(2:04:46) yourself so we know here Amazon's not selling but the brand selling directly this is the brand themselves and it's a dominated listing so I'm going to bother with that guy uh we come back to this guy that we were able to Source earlier for 20 bucks so let's see if this guy makes sense on amazon.
(2:05:14) com this one sells over a thousand units per month so very interesting and this guy about 30 $2 and start a buy cost if we were able to get it it was $20 Canadian so that'd be 1440 us so that's a very profitable product you might need to factor in a little bit more for cross border fees and whatnot but that's very profitable if you're able to pick that guy up for 20 bucks and it sells quite a bit I believe Pokemon got restricted for most Canadian sellers so if you're in that camp kind of out of luck but if you can still sell Pokemon or if we get reated
(2:05:52) this is definitely something to keep an your your eye out for because that's a very very very viable [Music] product um but yeah I just wanted to briefly touch a base on using uh tactical arbitral in that sense I find that if you do this quite consistently you can actually commonly find quite a bit of good stuff uh but this is by far the only way to Source cross border this is just one of many so any questions about any of that so far I drink my two-hour old coffee here questions comments concerns cool so we've discussed a lot of that
(2:06:50) we've discussed a lot of that the only other thing that is let's double check here really on my list is to do some more crossb sourcing before we get into that was there anything else that anybody would want to cover at all I do want to do some crossb sourcing utilizing This Server specifically as well I think there's some slipt on things that we can utilize directly in the server to cross B source cool okay so I'm gonna get rid of ta here then so number one is if you're sourcing through the Amazon to Amazon Bots
(2:07:36) whether you're sourcing on the Canadian one or the US one you'll find that at the bottom of the pings it has a additional price graph so it has the main one for the main marketplace and then it has the opposite marketpl price graph as well with a converted price it does that just so you can quickly look through these items and see if the items are also viable in the opposite Marketplace so it's by far from perfect it's not calculating if it is actually profitable for you but it is showing you the like we're in the US right now so it
(2:08:12) is showing you the the Canadian keeper graph and it is showing you what the buy cost would be in that Marketplace as well approximately okay so if you're sourcing through here you can relatively easily identify if a product is going to be viable for you cross Market Place okay uh we are going to work on these in the future to make them better but this is what we're working with right now uh these are our own bots so it does take a lot of figuring developing and just a lot of time in general which unfortunately I
(2:08:46) have very limited amounts of but that is a good way that you can use that and that is a way way that I have found some really decent products as well uh there was a I believe it was a US lead I want to say it was CA to us from what I recall that was a tupperware lead and I want to say that in the US it sold multiple thousands I want to say it sold like five or 10, units per month and the profit per unit was something crazy like $20 per unit and I found that utilizing these exact tools okay so it can be extremely viable but but again we're
(2:09:24) going to see a mix of results depending on what we're looking through here okay another thing is uh I'm not going to go specifically my threads but utilizing seller watch is a super un underrated tool for either Canadian sourcing or especially Canada to us sourcing because if you identify sellers that either are Canada to us sellers or US to Canada and you know that is is the majority of their business model you can throw them into seller watch very easily see all their newly added products and you're basically just having a gold mine
(2:10:01) of new products added into your thread every single day or every single time that they stock new products right I mentioned earlier today that I was able to do some Canada US sourcing because we have some of our threads pumped full of really solid sellers that know what they're doing they Source Products consistently so they're able to put in that leg work find those products they get fed into my thread as soon as they go live and then we're able to pick you back off those and reverse search and find those products as well okay uh
(2:10:32) doing that you're obviously going to miss some of the opportunity stuff that's like on clearance that is going to be gone by the time they go active but you can still find a lot of really good stuff utilizing those tools exactly for that okay so i' highly recommend that no matter what type of sourcing that you do uh if you ever look at any of Stell storefronts would highly encourage you to start utilizing seller watch because it can be a very very very effective tool um another thing that I like to utilize specifically for CA to us
(2:11:06) sourcing is Red Flag deals so I like to utilize some of our deal Bots as well but I really put a higher emphasis on Red Flag deals because we find a lot of really good stuff that comes through here that's very viable extremely profitable typically relatively limited um it's not always going to be like we're going to find 10 bangers per day but every day or two we're going to find one two maybe three really solid leads uh and most people I know of some sellers that it's fairly obvious they're doing the same just because of their
(2:11:43) lead history that I've seen but I think that a lot of people are not doing this okay so what I'm doing is I'm going through here and I'm just really cherry-picking out the information and I'm looking for products that I have previously sourced for Canada to us that I know that this type of product has done well for us before so I'm not looking through every single product I'm being very selective but I'm looking at products that have a good discount for a lot of electronics like I mentioned a lot of specific toys a lot of small
(2:12:17) appliances um things like that a lot of like supplements if they're sold from Amazon directly um if I see like really uh heavy clearance items I'll look at those guys too so I just really skim through here until I see something that looks potentially interesting and then I take a little bit deeper and again I haven't prev vetted any this information so I don't know if we'll find anything today uh but it's quite often that we do end up finding info on here uh I see something from Costco I have found a lot of viable stuff from Costco to go CA to
(2:12:49) us so let's see what we see here so this is an Oxo ceramic skillet for $ 39.97 price is now showing $39.97 it's online as well so let's take a look at this guy 39.97 so I'm just going to pull up Amazon us I'm going to look at Oxo nonstick skillet what sizes are these guys a 10 and a 12 Oxo nonstick skillet and again normally when I have my multiple monitors set up I would have ones on one side on one screen one on another one it just make things a whole lot easier uh but there is potential that we could potentially split these guys up if
(2:13:41) it makes sense uh so we might want to look at the individual 12 packs here uh but we're also looking for one that's a a multi pack or a bundle that's a 12 and a 10 in and of course if we could find like an 8 in to bundle in there like something like that that might be viable as well if it makes sense this one might not be exactly the same it might be it says 10 and a half we just want to take a look at that guy but yeah so let's see what we can find so this one says it's a 12in this one has a coded handle do these guys
(2:14:24) those guys are different so I'll get rid of that guy these are uncoded this says 10 and a half though three layer German steel doesn't specify that says 10 so I probably wouldn't be comfortable doing those guys we do see the 10 and the 12 separately here though so if these guys are match which I'm not 100% sure sure they are see a little hole potentially but let's just say for argument sake that they are so this guy sells for the 10 inch 600 units per month and we have a payout of 2460 us uh Amazon is regularly in
(2:15:24) stock do we regularly sell it for $49.99 it looks like we have no problem soling for $49.99 cool so we have a payout of 2460 then let's look at the 12 in this guy sells 3K plus let me just write down 2460 us this guy is very price stable selling for $59.99 so this guy has a payout of $33 normally it sells a fair bit more could just be that we're coming into Christmas or we've seen a price a temporary price decrease probably estimate it sell it sell closer like a th units per month um but we're looking at a pay a payout of about $32
(2:16:13) us so if we go 32 plus 24 pay out of $556 us which would be $77 Canadian and the buy cost for these guys are $ 3997 so if they are the same which I'm not 100% certain that they are we obviously have to double check we may you want want M your mic Ron I'm gonna mute you m your I disconnected wron um but yeah so if these are the same which again you might as well have to dig a little bit deeper into these guys I'm not 100% sure that they are but they very well could be potentially they might look a little bit different but if they are 100% rip those
(2:17:13) guys apart and sell them individually because that' be super profitable they may be SL slightly different but yeah you'd have to dig a little bit deeper into those guys but very good potential um that was the guy the set we were unsure of that was a 10 and a half so that may be as far as we're going with that guy I disconnected you Ron because you unmuted your mic and it was loud over there um but then yeah from there we're just going to sorry sorry move no problem so then I'm just going to look through and see what else we can find okay so
(2:17:55) not every day we're going to find something super super viable but on the days that we do uh we can find some very very viable very profitable stuff and we can find just good General deals and general flips in here as well so let's see what we found here so two pack of coffee for 37 bucks online so this might even be cheaper in store so I don't know why I closed amazon.
(2:18:29) com but we're going to come back so we're looking for Zada organic dark coffee and this would be two pounds so right there that's hazelnuts that might be a rabbit hole that may be worth exploring but let's take a look at this guy this is the organica that says medium roast this one was dark roast so those are different uh doesn't look like it sells a whole lot anyway based on these prices that's a pack of two that's a pack of one that's probably not viable uh also with CA to us sourcing whenever I see that little phrase right there imported from Canada I typically always
(2:19:28) want to take a look at those guys because those are Canadian specific products that are being sent over the border and so those guys are pretty easy to identify you can also pull up those guys on somewhere like keepo product finder and just look for like the text field and look for like imported from Canada uh and you can find a ton of products just like that and there are new listings that are made all the time specifically that because people are wanting to say that they're from Canada to get Americans interest for those
(2:19:55) products so but these guys don't look too interesting to me so I'm just going to carry on here these are some sennheisers for 55% off it says SPC Card so we might need like a teenager or somebody to get an SPC Card for us but say we could would these guys be profitable I don't know if there' be a way to Loop that either but let's take a look and so these guys are going to be 225 Canadian I think those would be it I'm not 100% certain if these would be the same ones but I believe so so our buy cost cost if we can get it for 225
(2:20:52) would be 162 us you sell 500 plus times per month so we had seen a dip here but on average 240 is a fairly reasonable price so that isn't too bad there probably closer to that um but yeah if we are able to get I mean one unit is decently profitable but if we're able to Loop this deal somehow some way we might even be able to get more that are even more viable so you just want to Al also consider that as well that we may be able to kind of finesse the system and get some products that are a little bit more harder to
(2:21:32) obtain for other people but we can see how profitable some of those products are like that was like a30 $40 us profit per unit which is very profitable especially with the amount of units it sells per month so I'm looking through some of these guys uh anybody have any questions about Canada to us sourcing at all so again there's no any single way to do Canada to us sourcing there's all different kinds of ways uh number one is I would say that while you're sourcing Canada directly keep an eye out on the same products for the US market
(2:22:14) regularly check for the US the US market um and then number two is manually looking through deals so I just really like Red Flag deals because we find a lot of really good stuff in there but you can find all different types of deal platforms so whether that's somewhere like stock track.car in uh where tactical Arbitrage may actually work a little bit better is doing crossb sourcing you can find a decent amount of procs doing that with tactical Arbitrage still not super great but you can find some good stuff uh and then also doing a lot of
(2:23:00) storefront stocking when you when you identify other Canadians in the US market so this is four five I don't see four five here so it's not overly complicated I would actually argue almost in general sourcing for can to us is almost easier than just sourcing Canada to Canada it just takes a bit of getting uh a hang of getting used to I actually find It's relatively easy to find Canada's us products and on the flip side it's Al it's also relatively easy Once you identify some of these specific things to look for to Source from the US to
(2:23:46) Canada as well uh anything else look interesting to me here Uber gift cards are back at Costco that's a Us store check on these guys and I think that's all I'm going to look through on Red Flag deals right now so is this an even good deal let's see not even that great of a deal not even gonna waste my time cool um so also we kind of circling back to some of the other stuff that we did earlier uh we can also start doing some
(2:24:48) rabbit hole sourcing with cross Bor uh souring as well right so we can come into leads that we already have in the server and then we can start Rabbit hoing those guys so if we're specifically targeting Canada to us we can come into the Canada to Us section we can start finding some of the leads that are in here and then we can start looking for like either the same Brands sales at the same store other sellers on these listings Etc because chances are there are going to be other Canadian sellers on these listings as well so
(2:25:20) let's just go way far up and let's just see what we can see let's just pull up this guy for example so this guy is not on sale anymore unless you can get it in store but let's see what kind of sellers we have here so I'm just going to pull up some random sellers so let's just pull up this guy let's pull up this guy and we can also look in the keepa history as well tool Masters just tells me that's uh probably a general retailer in the US could be wrong not sure if I pulled that guy up yet look at this guy I'm just I'm just
(2:26:20) pulling them up a random this says Northern Distributors so that might be one and this isn't a perfect way to identify uh Canadian sellers but if we do see Canadian info on their profile it's pretty obvious that they're Canadian okay so this is probably a c us seller I apologize if you're in here I do not mean to do that you were on here a long time ago so not sure if you are or not but it's pretty obvious that this is probably a Canada us seller okay some Canadian sellers will have a Us address and that's fine those are going to be a
(2:26:57) little bit harder to identify some of them you're not going to but if you just find a common pattern that the same seller that may have a Us address is on a lot of listings that you're finding for CA to us you can probably infer that they are probably buying it from Canada and sending it to the US right so this is another Canadian seller so relatively obvious and again I apologize if you're in here um this is potentially a US seller very common for people in other countries to get Incorporated in Delaware so you can try to go down a
(2:27:32) rabbit hole and see if you can find any additional details about that seller there potentially Canadian uh potentially Canadian I'm not sure that's the same one that we just looked at I think it was and this one just says Colorado so probably not Canadian but it's always a potential but like these guys obviously are right I don't know if these guys are good Canada US sellers but you can start looking through their storefront right so we can pull these guys up pull them up in uh seller amp and start going through and seeing if we can find any
(2:28:08) additional leads and then we can do a additional rabbit H holding based off of that the additional leads that we find we can look for other sellers on those products see what they're selling and then go further and further and further and further so this is probably a guy that's either just stopping Canada us or Amazon General doesn't have too much going on anymore that's okay where was our other seller this guy here very low ratings so relatively new sellers so that's okay uh I have mine uh set as delivered to Canada so
(2:28:44) I'm just going to double check to see if they have any Us listings they do have some okay so we we can actually Source this guy so then we can start doing some sourcing so just pulling it up to see if it looks viable and then obviously seeing if we can find it anywhere right and then we can start digging deeper on these sellers and etc etc so very easy to start going down these rabbit holes and basically finding an endless amount of leads right so this guy selling for 101 our Max cost is $66 so 66 so we're looking for about $92
(2:29:24) Canadian oh look that might make sense right there is this the same model this is 2457-20 two 2457-20 there's a viable product right there $78 us 5617 or so 778 Canadian 5617 us buyable product sells 50 plus per month pretty easy and I think that's the exact same product it is and then we can start going down those rabbal right so any questions any comments about any of that anything else that anybody would want me to touch base on or have any need any clarification for at all for us to ca I would do it in the exact same process okay I guess it's
(2:30:23) good to look through uh do a little bit of an intro to usca as well because there's a little bit more we have to figure out uh most people that are doing CA to us they're probably utilizing some form of prep Center in general and they generally have a set fee and they take care of the crossb stuff for you whereas a lot of people that are doing us Toca are probably importing it themselves and so you kind of have to figure out additional fees yourself right and it may sound scary but it's not that complicated um the first couple times
(2:30:58) that you ever bring stuff across the border if you do have to utilize a crossborder service and you've never used one before I would recommend that number one you come into our resources uh look at how to estimate crossborder fees slash total landed cost so this gives you a calculator on with what you can utilize ize to get a rough estimation of how much it's going to cost you to bring it over the border and there's a video here to show you how to utilize that calculator and then under the general reselling guides there's also how to
(2:31:34) utilize a reshipper crossb service so it gives you some basic breakdown of how they work and then a list of some popular crossb Services as well okay so with basically all these Services you can open an account with them for no cost you get a Us address or you typically get a Us address and then whenever you have stuff whether you're exporting or importing that's when you would incur fees from those companies and they have a set fee schedule so it's either on their website or you can ask them for their fee schedule and it's
(2:32:13) usually fairly straightforward you just look at their pricing and it tells you what you should on average expect okay so like with crossb pickups for example uh this is bringing from the US into Canada so their pickup fee includes all this stuff here and depending on your weight they charge you a set amount per package and then if you have additional packages they give you a bit of a discount for bulk bringing them all over at the same time and then they would also charge you additional fees to then ship the product
(2:32:55) to you so if you're able to go directly to the service and pick them up you typically only in uh incur the pickup fee that they have the sales tax of the state that it was shipped to uh if it wasn't already paid and then um any duties that your product May uh incur as well okay uh most products if they are manufactured in Canada the us or Mexico they should all be dutyfree you shouldn't pay any duties on those bring them across the border if they are manufactured in other countries they will typically incur some duties
(2:33:38) depending on the total value that you're bringing across the border usually if it's considered a smaller personal uh size sometimes it's either no duties or less duties uh in some categories you're going to pay the same amount of Duties regardless but you can look up a duty calculator on uh I think like CBS or whatever the Canadian crossb services and they give you a good estimation of what expected duties you should pay on what categories based on the value okay so we know based off that uh we have these fees so this calculator is
(2:34:17) just built to give you a rough estimate of what it you should expect to pay fully landed it's not per it's not perfect but it helps you get close okay so if we do some sourcing and say we're just doing some um reverse sourcing for usca we can start pulling up stuff obviously we can see if the products are still viable themselves and buy these products but then we can also start reverse searching some of this on here as well okay so this one is potentially still viable probably still is uh doesn't look like it sells a whole lot in Canada
(2:35:01) right now uh but let's take a look at this FBA seller and see if they tend to bring a lot of stuff across the border so I'm just going to double check to see if one if they are actually Canadian that's a straight up Chinese store so I'm probably not g to waste my time with that guy uh maybe bringing stuff across the border but that's okay I don't typically like wasting my time with Chinese sellers let's see what else we got uh Ron says so if I'm importing a few products valued at 3,000 but manufactured in the US is that a
(2:35:42) possibility I don't pay any duties so I'm not a a crossb expert I want to say if you import them commercially and they are manufactured in the US I believe they would be dutyfree however I don't exactly know the full restrictions on that and you want to check you could just you could probably tag Ali from YYZ prep and he'd probably be able to realistically tell you and or just talk to your cross border service or a a border broker um I want like I have broughten over products I want to say shipments of like probably close to 10 grand at a
(2:36:22) time from the US a products that were manufactured in in the US and I did not pay any duties on them I don't know if it was category specific uh but the service I was utilizing was crossboard pickups before they switched to ship Savvy uh they were manufactured in the US uh I was importing them commercially not personally so I don't know if that played a role um but I don't know for sure so I can't be confident to tell you that information but yeah you could tag ali um or those other people like I mentioned so let's look at some of these
(2:37:01) guys here so Express Express Health Supply they are a very big seller uh I'm not sure if they do too much like us to Canada sourcing they are going to be buying from Mostly Distributors but it's possible uh this seller looks familiar to me though for uh us Toca so I take a look at this guy so I believe I have seen this particular seller bring other products across the border as well so this one might be a good one to do storefront stocking on so let's see what we can find and the way that you can uh infer if somebody is a us to ca seller is just
(2:37:45) by looking through their storefront and just by finding that a good portion of their catalog are products that are only found in the US right and so because I am typically looking for products that I'm expecting to buy in the US I'm typically going to want to have a higher selling price products that have a higher margin so we can certainly explore some of these other guys but I'm probably going to explore the ones that are going to have a higher selling price just so I have more room for profit to account for my additional
(2:38:22) fees I'm just going to pull up some and then we'll do some research so and not saying all these are from the US these might be Canadian products as well you never know let's take a look so sells a decent amount of units per month uh we have a potential payout of about $11 has dropped a fair bit in the recent history but let's see uh dishwasher detergent gel see if this is in Canada or if we're sourc it from the US this might eat up a lot of fees if we're bringing it in from the US just because it's so heavy that might be from iherb right
(2:39:08) there but that's obviously not profitable so what we can do here is because I'm in Canada I'm going to get a lot of Canadian results we can try typing in US or United States we can also change our Google settings so like right now it says I'm in Canada we can come into I believe its help and then there's a setting there let me just move this so I don't expose any data and let me confirm where is my settings so it just says update location so you should be able to click here you should be able to click update location
(2:39:50) and then you should be able to change it to us you might have to connect to a VPN to do that uh but then you'll get more United States results on your Google searches okay but let's just see if we can find it specifically in the United States it will probably work better if you do connect to a US server uh but let's see what we can find here v a cost potentially and let's also see if it's on Amazon us so I have my address set set to deliver to Canada that doesn't mean we can't bring it over the border so would
(2:40:26) potentially cost 859 us that certainly will not leave enough margin for us after exchange and additional fees so that wouldn't be viable uh V cost free and clear this one it just says 1.19 kg potentially pre and clear this guy may have some potential if we don't have to pay shipping let's just see here I don't recall if these guys are Canadian friendly or not if they ship direct to Canada without treasuring fees all the better
(2:41:42) okay auto ship okay well don't let me choose auto ship then you bastard okay are they going to ship to Canada let's find out so these guys may not ship directly um utilizing a crossb service I just know that this would probably not be viable because these are just going to get up too many fees if these guys did Ship Direct to Canada for no dollars that might be viable but in this case I don't think this guy is going to be good
(2:42:45) for us those are from other retailers so let's continue on to the next guy here uh this is something that I see on iherb quite often so if you can find it obviously on sale at IH herb it's probably going to be viable uh we might be able to find it for a better price in the US but not expected so this guy is he selling any volume here well I'm just kind of browsing through some of these guys anybody have any additional questions at all this one doesn't look like it sells a whole lot so I'm not too interested this one might
(2:43:25) be interesting because it sells 300 plus per month uh we're probably looking at like an average selling price of about $22 is that'd be fair so we we need a relatively low purchase price so let's see what we can find so Amazon us quite often has this for 3.99 that one maybe have potential let's just see if we can find it anywhere else if we can find it directly in Canada it might even be better 998 that is too expensive so let's just see if we can utilize our calculator and see if this guy would would potentially be viable if we could
(2:44:21) pick it up for $3.99 so what I do is when I figure out the calculator I'm specifically figuring that I want to bring over about a 30 PB box with a little bit of wiggle room and I do that because um crossboard pickups their most favorable rates are within about 30 pounds um sometimes we can get okay with 30 lbs plus but we start paying more for every additional pound that we have so I typically try to get within this price range which uh brings me a pickup fee of $17 okay so let's just say that we're factoring this in
(2:45:01) without a shipping fee that I have a crossb service close to me that I can pick my products up at so I'm going to figure how many I can bring over and this is kind of some guesswork because you don't know how many units the retailer is actually going to ship in one box uh you get more of a feel for this the more you do it uh Amazon and Walmart they can tend to split units up quite often usually if it's not super super heavy or super awkward Amazon will typically send them all in one box however with your first shipment you're
(2:45:35) kind of doing some trial and error so this one just says it's 840 grams so 840 divided by 454 gr which is one pound means that this is one .85 PB and some change so I'm going to take my 30 lb divid by 1.85 1.85 so that means that at most I can fit about 16 units in one box okay maybe I'm unsure of it maybe I don't know how much the box is going to weigh so maybe I just want to bring over say 12 or 13 so let's see if that makes sense for us here so we can buy it for 3.
(2:46:16) 99 we can bring over 12 units so base on that information here if we do not have to have it shipped to us it's going to get landed to us for about $720 Canadian okay and again that's not perfect you're going to be doing some trial and error on your first go but it's going to be close and so this is within our minimum standards it's not a super high profit but it's potentially doable if you can ensure that you're not expecting all the additional fees it's doable because this guy has a good volume okay so for those that do look out for lower
(2:46:53) margin products this is a product that does have some potential it has more potential as well is um if when Amazon stocks it if they have quantity discounts quite often in the US they do so we might even be able to get this for as cheap as like $299 or maybe a little bit less whether it's quantity discounts directly through Amazon or through an Amazon business account so that could potenti make this guy decently okay but you do have to do a little bit of testing with that first initial order to make sure that you have
(2:47:26) your crossboard fees in check obviously if you had to have this shipped to you like if I had to have this shipped to me from Ontario to Saskatchewan definitely probably wouldn't make sense unless I'm bringing over like a ton of units in one box which it probably wouldn't work okay any questions about any of that so far okay so we have 1390 from Amazon Direct that's probably going to be too too close do they ever sell it for cheaper sometimes see if we can find this guy anywhere else and some of these products we're going
(2:48:31) to find are available in Canada uh however on occasion it may even be more favorable to still import them across the border so I want to say I've heard of 88 Lots I don't recall if they are a viable Source or not I want to say like they're some type of liquidation company so we might have to do some research into this company uh they are sold out right now but it's obviously potential that they might come back in stock and if they did this guy might be viable so let's just do it just per chance like they were so
(2:49:11) this is about a half pound per unit so that means realistically we might be able to bring over about 60 units that was 50 per month so just say by chance I want to bring over 20 to test it if we can actually get it for eight bucks us per unit we can bring over 20 that means we can land it for about 12244 if we have no shipping fee and so if we can get those guys this does have some potential and obviously the more units that you bring over in one go the better price per unit you're going to get because you're going to be splitting
(2:49:47) across uh your pickup fee across more multiple units if you were able to bring over 60 at a time we could drop that cost a fair bit there so is all that make sense is any is everybody following along with these guys anybody have any questions if you want to you can also come on the mic we are coming close to the tail end of everything here okay this guy looks potentially interesting did I post this guy in the server I can see just right now on my extension that's in the US for 2195 have I posted this guy I don't think so let's take a
(2:50:57) look uh it's not even inflated selling price as of late that's a fine price to sell it at okay we can buy it directly from Amazon for $21.95 that's not bad we're looking at about 1 kg per so 1 kg times 2.2 so we're looking at about like say two two and a half pounds so 30 pounds divide by 2 and a half 12 so we might be able to reasonably bring over 12 units in one box this is a two pack so we're looking at 2.
(2:51:47) 95 us bring over 12 units no shipping fee 3322 to land it that might be a pretty decent product for anybody that wants to explore that that might pretty pretty all right sells 600 plus units per month in Canada not bad and we might obviously be able to find this cheaper somewhere else in the US um it's probably unlikely just because it's a bundled price from Amazon and they do tend to be quite competitive in pricing maybe the three pack is better that was 2195 for two and this is 3366 for three so that's 1122 per 2195 divided by two yeah two two pack is
(2:52:36) better price but yeah that might not be a bad product at all damn making people money um but yeah so I think that basically covers US to Canada uh anybody have any questions about that or anything else at all that we've discussed today or anything in general I just had a question about the Google extension you have up there in the top right what about it uh what is it that's a nice little custom extension that we built not available to anybody else ni nice very cool I like it so yeah in theory it should always pull up the crossb data still working on
(2:53:27) a little bit again just a side project that will eventually be released to other people I just can't say when but we can also easily um calculate crossb pricing so like I can switch to Canada very easily I can switch my currency usca calculate profit Etc it's not refined but it's pretty it's a pretty helpful prettyy helpful tool and that's why it says extension name up here no cool thing there and then do have another question too about liquidation you kind of showed that that other website there what's your thoughts
(2:54:04) on on selling liquidation like I know there's some people get caught with Section 3es they don't got like proper supply chain documents so what's your thoughts on that I have very mixed opinions about it so I think it can be viable but you have to really really vet your supplier and really really vet the documentation that they're going to give to you so I wouldn't like go out to like a crazy bin store and buy the that they put in their bins because you're not going to have good documentation for them but if
(2:54:34) you do have a a liquidator that gives you a professional invoice everything is itemized and it says this is the actual item like it says closest 32 ounce this is how many you bought and it has full details on the invoice and we know from vetting their prior stock uh that they are a actual good source I think they can be okay uh the only concern that I have with those is kind of like what we discussed in our last session is potentially gray market products so I'd want to know what they do to prevent the influx of those products
(2:55:16) which a lot of Liquidators don't they take them all willy neilly uh my only concern with that is like if prods are gray Market as in um say like they're like some massive cloos or something which is fine but those say those Brands say Liquidator uh like say like Max Steels or whatever they bought a a massive close out from a US retailer and brought it into Canada but that that Canadian brand or that us brand has an exclusive agreement to either not sell in Canada or to only sell in a certain region or to only sell on a certain
(2:55:52) platform we don't necessarily have to be concerned about getting litigated against because we have the right to dispose of our products however we want but that's the potential with those brands that are going to submit false IP complaints going to submit um try to get Like Us section three say that they're inauthentic like that right as long as we have solid documentation it should be okay uh but we just really really really really want to vet those suppliers very heavily okay so I'm guess when we getting from that is like as long as you
(2:56:27) could bet the supplier and know kind of how they receive the product whether it was like customer returns or overstock then I guess kind of that's the risk you can take I guess depending on you know what the profit is and how much you want to risk uh getting flaged yeah so I wouldn't necessarily say like take a risk because like that's like if it's if it's sketchy if it's a risk it's not worth your account no matter how much profit it makes especially if this is your livelihood um just vet the supplier enough to know that they have
(2:57:03) documentation and I would even go as far as saying okay what are the invoices going to look like that you provide me and then if it if it comes to that case can you give me the invoices from your suppliers and what do those look like I don't want you to show me who your suppliers are I don't want you to show me the pricing that you got but I want to see what those invoices look like because there's a chance that Amazon asks for that and if they show you an invoice it's like yeah they have shelf poles from Target in the US and
(2:57:33) they have an official invoice from Target I'm completely cool with that but we just want to make sure that they're willing to give us that documentation um and that they have that documentation okay cool sounds good thank you very much so uh Danny in the server uh one of our staff members there a young guy but he does a lot of liquidation so if you do he is putting together a liquidation guide he mentioned that a long time ago but he actually has it in the works now just people get so busy uh so there will be some some tips and stuff in there um
(2:58:10) but if you do also have additional questions he would probably be a pretty good resource to ask about that as well any other questions comments concerns about anything this is a damn good product though just saying don't nobody go in there and kill the price but people can come on here and make some money Abdul I'm looking at you don't kill the price maybe he's not here I just say that because he was talking about listings getting killed earlier don't kill the price Abdul I will hunt you down you control seller snap doesn't
(2:59:18) matter you say s St might you're you're in control of that there's no excuses but yeah like so we went through a lot of different tangents and methods for AA specifically and we found a really good chunk of very very viable products in both Canada and in the US and so it just goes to show you like if if you're willing to spend a little bit of time doing these methods there is a lot of of viability out there uh obviously it's a little bit different to say for me it's like oh send me to go sourcing uh because I've been doing this
(2:59:58) for what how many years now six versus somebody that's brand new if you're brand new even if you watch this video it might take you a week to find a good product but if you just like I mentioned at the top of the conversation really be curious don't give up and be willing to try different things and then when you find something that's working really hone in on it and keep trying and go deep into that it becomes a lot easier over time but yeah I think that's everything from me so if nobody else has any other questions then I think we'll be wrapping
(3:00:46) up here shortly I hope some people made some money in the session don't go crazy with buying the leads that we found in here because there going to be a lot of eyeballs on them but of course some of these leads will certainly be viable there's enough margin on them regardless and don't be an and kill the price if you do Abdel see some people typing so we'll just see if any other questions roll through here not a problem for everybody saying that it's a helpful session I hopefully the purpose of this is hopefully that it
(3:01:35) is helpful to people and that people do learn some stuff I hope I'm just not speaking to the wind so we still have quite a few people showing up to these things so I assume that they are helping some people but yeah like just again to reiterate for those that are new um I know like when you first start sourcing it can be very frustrating when you don't find any products or like you spend six eight hours in a day it's like oh I found one very meager not super profitable product it happens but you need to keep continuously sourcing it's a skill set
(3:02:24) you have to build we all have to go through it many of us have spent hundreds if not thousands of hours of sourcing before we're able to be considered anywh proficient and whatever sourcing method we're doing if you want to build a skill set that is very profitable you have to be willing to spend the time to learn how to do it Abdul says don't worry he won't tank these ones for the benefit of the attendees if you do I'll know ABD I'll I'll I'll mute you for a [Laughter] month cool so then we will wrap it up there um but yeah I hope everybody found
(3:03:06) some good value in here today and yeah uh I'm sure we'll have some more sessions come up here in the near future it's going to be a little a little more monkey being in Q4 I feel like I'm not getting much sleep these days so they may be a little bit more scattered than normal but regardless we will still have them um and then yeah I hope everybody else has a good rest of their day a good week and a solid Q4 take care everyone
