Costco Arbitrage Mini Guide

This is a mini guide to help you better and more efficiently source from Costco.
Costco can be an excellent source for RA and general resell as well as they have lots of exclusive sizes and products that can be pretty good deals.
It can be a pain to have to source in store especially considering many warehouses have horrible internet connections.
There are 2 websites that exist for Canadians that help you level up your Costco sourcing game (one for the west of Canada and one for the east):
These are blog sites where each week the owners go in store and take pictures of all of the sales & then catalog them in weekly posts. The posts are typically released to the public on Tuesdays and paid subscribers get them one day early.
These can be a great way to source as you can see all of the sale items and the secret/in store only sales that are not advertised in the weekly flyers. You can also see regular prices on items which are not available on Costco's site; most of the items on Costco's site are also priced higher than they are in store.
As well, they have a notification system in place that you can add specific items to your list and then when they are detected as on sale, you will receive an email indicating so.
Pro tip: Costco tends to rotate the same items on sale at around the same time(s) every year so you can get a generally good idea when specific items will be put on sale again by looking at the prior sale history.
There can be discrepancies from time to time as not all warehouses always have the exact same prices and some stores may have special in store clearances that others do not have but in general you can get a really good idea on prices at Costco.
