Focus Groups
What are focus groups? Companies regularly conduct focus groups when they are wanting to do market research. An example of this would be a food company wanting to conduct a taste test of their products, a retailer wanting to identity your shopping trends etc. Companies do this to obtain market research and help make business decisions, increase their sales etc. In order to entice people to join these groups, most of these companies offer incentives for doing so. Most of the time this is in the form of a pre-paid credit card and often amounts to $50 - $100+/hr of time spent. Many focus groups are also conducted online so we can take advantage of these in our spare time to earn some extra money from the comfort of our own home.
